Kohoreshir

Main article: Anhau

Kohoreshir is the palace of Durg Joa Tan, the leader of the Kohore. It was passed on to her by her mother, Durg Joa Sato.

The palace, which is situated in the center of Kohore territory on the Slope region, is bright and airy, with an open design inspired by nature. There are no doors or closed windows, and fresh air continually flows throughout the rooms in all weather. It is open to the public, though it also serves as the living place for Joa Tan and her large family (seven husbands and fifteen children, only three of which are her biological offspring).

Though not technically a temple, Kohoreshir is a place of worship for many of the Kohore tribe. The courtyard is uses for group prayer and magical study, while the many rooms are always open to a soul-searching visitor.

The palace is built of white adobe, like many of the buildings around the Kohore part of Anhau, and its roofs are made of tile. In the open doorways, colorful curtains or bright paper lamps are hung. The floor of the palace is covered in a richly embroidered carpet, and there is always incense burning in carves sconces on the walls. The design is simple and modest, but Kohoreshir is considered very beautiful and inspirational.
