Dereko House
Main article: Anhau
The Dereko House is a large, open building, with reed mats and sitting cushions, welcoming of all who enter. It is both meeting house and lodgings, where people may filter in and out, or rest their heads on any of the sprawling pillows. It is a calm, quiet place, meant for discussion and rest.
The building is a work of art in itself; The high walls are covered in swirling mosaics and cloth hangings, the myth-carved rafters hung with beads and chimes. Air passes through small windows high in the roof, allowing the bells to sound in any passing breeze. Music is welcomed here, and often the notes of a classical wick instrument can be heard mingling with the wind.
