Hello all! I realize this wiki is massive, and it can get confusing at times, so I've created this page to guide you through the essentials of Vita!

This is the bare minimum of information you need to know to play the game. It may still seem like a lot, but I think that a detailed world makes for a more compelling user experience. I recommend that you glance over everything in the wiki at some point to get a better grasp of how things work in Vita.

Without further ado, the shortcut:

• Begin with the About the Game page. It will give you a brief overview of the situation in Anaxas and will mention some races.
• Next, go take a closer look at the Races pages. You needn't read all of them, but skim them to see what they are.
• Read the page on Anaxas and then skim Vienda, Brunnhold and Old Rose Harbor to get an idea for where you'd like to roleplay.
• If you're going to be using magic, I recommend you read the magic page thoroughly. If you're not a magic user, don't worry about it. If you want to see specific spells, look at the Spell Directory, or the Spoke's Almanac if you're a wick.
• Read the page on the Circle Gods.
• Take a look at the Vitan calendar on Date and Time.
• Read technology. It's really short and will give you a time frame for the game.
• Skim People of Note - in particular, the bios for King Taelin, High Judge Azmus, Silas Hawke, Jon Serro and Ophelia Servalis.
