Backstory

Algernon was born to Essia and Ernest Aynesworth. Essia was Hessean that had met Ernest in Brunnhold. They both met when they were eighteen. She was made fun of from time to time but she endured. Ernest commanded respect from his peers because of his high intellect, he scored an eight on the initiation test. When people first started seeing them together, they were only given a few weeks a month at best but like Essia, they endured. She decided to stay with Ernest after graduation. After only a few months they were wed. As a result of their wedding night, Algernon was born.

Algernon was the happiest thing the couple could ask for. He always seemed to be in a joyous mood. In his seventh year his family moved to Hesse to take care of Essia's dying father. It was a rough patch for Algernon. He noticed that compared to his families home, his grandfathers was trifling. He noticed that Hesse wasnt as bustling as Anaxas. Algernon wanted to change the living conditions for the Hessean people. As his tenth birthday approached, he asked to stay and help look after his grandfather, they declined.

Algernon scored a seven on his initiation test. A pretty good score usually meant a pretty good future. During his early years at Brunnhold, Algernon was reclusive. All he could think about was his grandfather and Hesse in general. He remembered that Hesse's economy was nothing compared to Anaxas'. As his years went by, though, he realized that he could help Hesse by industrializing it. Since Algernon was so obsessed his heritage he started looking into a type of magic that would connect to the natural world and Living Magic did that for him.

The rest of Algernon's schooling went by pretty uneventfully. He took a few Political and Diplomacy courses. He knew that if he was going to change the way Hesse was ran and operated he would have to do it from Anaxas, ironically. When He graduated he found a job as a junior clerk. He was the lowest of the low but he knew that if he was going to climb the political ladder, he would have to start out in the bottom of the barrel.

Now in his twenty fifth, he has become a clerk for the Diplomatic Liaison, whose job he soon hopes to take. He communicates with his parents on a bi-weely basis. They send him an allowance every month, which is the gross of his income.

Personality

Having his formidable years in Hesse, He gained most of the Hessean manners. He is a warm, honest and open. Some people might confuse is honesty with rudeness but he does not see it that way. He goes out of the way to help any person he sees, although he would be more restrained to help a human. He would do anything to get a result he wants but he still abides by the noble uses.

Physical Description

Even though he is only half Hessean, those are his dominant traits. He has very tan skin, light and woolly hair. He has plenty of freckles. Not as much as a full Hessean, but still pretty excessive. His eyes are a brilliant gold. There are bags under his eyes because of staying up late and writing and editing documents. He is rather tall for a galdor gaining the Hessean height from his mother also. The only thing he really got from his father were the shape of his eyes, they look more like Anaxi eyes then Hessean eyes.

Goals

Algernon wishes to ease relations between Hesse and Anaxas. He wants to meet a nice Hessean girl and start a family. He wants to be a father before he is thirty, he doesn't know how plausible this is though. He wants to climb the political ladder, maybe becoming a member of the headmaster’s chairs.
