  • Massacres: Dorhaven Massare, Intas 20 Incident (Alstair’s Massacre)
  • Nomadic wicks barred from Vienda; writs of residence required
  • Riots in Vienda: Soot Riots, Kingsway Riots

  • Oculus branch of the Seventen take over, backed by Azmus
  • The wedge is deepened between Vienda’s politicians and Brunnhold’s scholars

2714:

  • Revolution: Round 1
  • Wealthy, landed galdori targeted by disorganized farmers and other tenants across Anaxas
  • Battle at Brunnhold 1: Brunnhold wins with superior fortification and spellpower
  • Headmaster Gormly is killed at the Battle at Brunnhold
  • Factionalism amongst the chairs prevents the election of a new headmaster, thus preventing the selection of a new queen
  • Busy with its own problems, Vienda did not come to Brunnhold’s aid
  • Some Viendan politicians are murdered or imprisoned

2715:
  • The Clerks’ Government
  • Middle-class galdori gain control of Vienda by knowing how to operate a government on a day-to-day basis
  • Judge Azmus executed for treason against the state, abuse of power, inciting to riot, etc.
  • Vienda returns to semi-normal functioning
  • Reading and alcohol bans repealed
  • Though it passes progressive laws, the Clerks’ Government has little power to enforce
  • Industrial barons are reluctant/slow to implement worker-friendly laws

2716:
  • Resistance dissatisfied that their demands have not been met
  • Revolution: Round 2 begins
  • Bloodier
  • Vienda descends into chaos
  • Brunnhold does not go to Vienda’s aid, instead fortifies itself

2717 (current year):
  • Revolution: Round 2 continues
  • Clerks’ Government retreats to Brunnhold
  • A radical faction seizes power in Vienda
  • The current radical government calls for the death of all enemies of the revolution (which includes nearly everybody)
  • Siege of Brunnhold (ongoing).  Revolutionaries are aided by Anhai wick warriors. Snipers blockade the town, preventing supplies from entering and people from escaping
  • Reliable news from within Anaxas has grown much more difficult to acquire, rumors rule the day

in conclusion, all hell has broken loose and anaxas is basically doomed.

This gives a good outline of events and also gives a chance for players to get old characters out of Anaxas without stretching credulity. We'll have to expand on this, but it does lay a nice and bloody foundation.
          • Oh geez, I think I remember the first fire bombing in old rose, that is probably about when some people started thinking of shipping out

            Don't tempt me.
          • I can think of at least ONE Wick with a nose for news that will be taking full advantage of any rumors that may or may not be true, that's for sure.
