Okay. I'm trying to flesh out a little plot here. I'm wide open to suggestions and tidbits...and willing victi--I mean players.

What I Have Thus Far:
My character, Bey has made his way into Old Rose and--while busy gawping at the first city he's ever seen in his young life--has been there a little bit (undetermined time for the moment). However, while in Old Rose, his faithful mare, Dawn, turns up missing. She's not been known to wander off, and Bey fears the worst. They've never been separated, so this would be nigh crushing to Bey.

Hopefully (if you kind folks decide to join) he's got a few helping hands to help him find his horse....

Suggestions? I'd like to flesh this out a little more before we dive in, so suggestions are extra welcome!

Rosalie'd likely be willing to help out, and needs some threads.

He'd be willing to pay...unless you stole Dawn and are pulling a con on unsuspecting Bey...now that would be an interesting twist...No?

I'm sure Leon could work his way in here. He is always trying to be the welcoming part the the harbor, helping out all sorts.

How about Loshis 14? That date would be feasable travel time for Bey; how does it work with ya'll's characters?



Awsome! Would he have a set motive for helping Bey, or is he just your wandering nice-guy type?

Another thing to consider: so the plot doesn't move along at a pace that's...ah...too fast. I could meet one or two of you before Dawn goes missing. Now Bey has someone to logicly turn to and ask: "Dude? Where's my horse?"

Heads up, Rosalie's not particularly fond of wicks, so there might be some hostility, there. xD And she's intimidating...might be better off with one of the fluffy happy folks. lol.

Oh but fluffy and happy can get so mundane. Hostility adds the spice! She may not like wicks, but surely she could find an angle that would serve her agenda. That would be a kicken' deal!

I encourage you to bring Rosalie! Bey's never met a galdor before.

Okay, I think we've got plenty people to flesh this out a little more:

Bey--who's been wandering around Old Rose for a few hours--runs into someone (whoever posts first after moi) and meets them. If Bey runs into Rosalie first, it might proove more realistic for her to brush him off with distaste before he runs into someone (or a couple folks) a bit friendlier, thus, she is introduced into the story.
Then Dawn goes missing.
Bey has a distraught moment before someone offers to assist (if they do...). To bring Rosalie back into the story, it might proove more interesting if Bey and Friendly Folks blunder about with no luck before running into Rosalie again. Perhaps she has information and knowledge...for a price...? (have to charge those stinking wicks something!)

And then we play it by ear from that point.

Well Leon is one of those fluffy happy kind and a wick himself. You could meet Leon after or before, It really doesn't matter. He would help either way.

That's superbe! Bey would be lost without someone friendly.

I'd volunteer, but the majority of my PCs/NPCs in ORH (except for Tristaan) would be more likely to have been the ones to steal your horse than help you find it.

Aye can do it the 14th, but idk if leon wants to meet her again course that also might make it more fun, with the two of them fighting and having to work together, could make bey get all mad or whatever he'd be like "dude! stfu and find my freakin horse! if you dont want to help then go away!" and they'd be like "eeeck"

Hey, it takes all types. Maybe one of your characters did steal the horse? Would playing an antagonist interest you? The plot could follow you about as you move poor Dawn out from under our little noses.
