'''Name:''' Felix Mauritius Livingston
'''Age:''' 23 (born Roalis 1st, 2688)
'''Race:''' galdor
'''Place of Origin:''' Vienda
!!!Backstory
Felix' father was a palace healer in Vienda, who married quite late with a young and rich socialite fresh out of Brunnhold. His mother owned a large house on the edge of the Painted Ladies – the upper edge, not the dives edge, of course - and they settled there with their baby.
As in most upper class households, young Felix didn't see much of his parents, and was basically cared for by a human nanny. He felt more like a vehicle for his parents honour and ambition than a loved child. Not that he ever minded, that felt perfectly normal for him. As it didn't shock him that his parents didn't seem to spend much time together, their marriage being clearly one of interest. He spent a quiet protected childhood, spending a lot of time reading and drawing inside his bedroom.
His goal in life was clearly stated as soon as he started reading. He, as a boy, was on Vita to continue his father and grandfather path, and become as famous a healer as he could. His younger sister, born eleven years after him, would be tasked to help his mother goal of becoming a power broker. And if, as a healer, he could bring her some interesting secrets, all the better. And if she could put him on top of the list for some prestigious positions, all the better too.
Felix was an average student in Brunnhold. It's probable that not a lot of his classmates remember him, except if they did specialize in biology and living magic with him. His goal was clear, he studied for it, stood out of the way of rivalries, romances, and gossips, and was rather bad at sports. He had his share of infatuations, but has been way too shy to act on them, the basic excuse being not wanting to complicate his studies. His only experience with romance has been via novels. And his only real heartbreak during that time when his parents rented their old house and moved to a smaller one (small being by galdori standards, of course) in a more comfortable and much more fashionable neighbourhood in uptown Vienda. The Painted Ladies had become quite exclusively human, and the edge of the dives had moved up a bit, that was true, but Felix was in love with that sunny house with its large garden and found the atmosphere in the new one, with its rich curtains nearly always closed, dark and stuffy.
When he graduated, his father gave him half his library and a recommendation for a position assisting an experienced and well-known healer in Dorhaven. His mother gave him money, loads of fashion and manners advices, and a list of good addresses in Vienda and Dorhaven. The young healer also requested and obtained the Painted Ladies house.
The plan was for Felix to gain experience in Dorhaven during ten years, before moving in Vienda to work with his father. But only two years after it was set in motion, Felix' father had a serious cardiac problem, and his wife decided the palace was too stressful for him to recover correctly. The man decided to retire in Muffey, from where his wife could still try to exert some influence, inviting other influential galdori to spend time in their new large house there.
Not wanting to let people forget the Livingston name, the family decided to hasten Felix' move. In the course of the following months, while he organized his departure from Dorhaven, the young man had the current tenants of the Painted Ladies house ousted, and hired a well recommended butler. He tasked the human to completely refurbish the house, to uptown standards, and hire a team staff it. All without moving from Dorhaven, except once to check the colour of the paint, thanks to his mother's address book.
!!!Personality
Felix is a quiet, well-mannered galdor. He tends not to be very social, finding other people either boring or intimidating. But, knowing he'll be needing some social visibility to progress in his career, he is fighting to shake that off. If left to his own preferences, he has kept from his childhood an appreciation for calm, and an eye for light and paintings, and doesn't like much more things than simply savouring a good spirit with a good book, on a comfortable armchair.
The most notable external trait of Felix would be his empathy and the way the pain of others upsets him. During his years in Dorhaven, he has gone to great lengths to alleviate his patients' pain, often making that his first priority before the actual healing. Seeing a creature in pain troubles him so much that he has been known to try to heal wounded cats he came across (earning some bad reputation for that back in Brunnhold).
Apart from that empathy, Felix is not a man with a lot of principles, and would have no qualms lying or reneging on his word if it can help him with his goals. He just tends to avoid relying on lies by fear of complications.
!!!Physical Description
Though not a giant, Felix is tall for a galdori, his stature closer to the average human. But he's quite lean, a mixture of his genetics and lack of appeal for sports.
He has a square face with a long thin nose, short brown hair, and brown eyes.
Out in the streets, Felix likes to wear dark or colorless tones, his usual dress being a charcoal ensemble with a white shirt, an assorted coat, and a tall black hat.
