I'm sure she'd like me to believe that. I can tell how well her strategy worked at home. Besides, women are notoriously difficult and ... needy. I'm not well-practiced in dealing with such things, unless it's to my own benefit. If you know what I mean. Heh. I'm all for cursing passersby and setting things on fire, however. Bring more of that on!

Re: gossip thread - THE SEQUEL Yeeeaah, wow. I about fell out of my office chair at "Nathrym." zomg. Awesome.  @Ali - I don't really picture Naul as normally the patient type. Flowers? Candy? Long walks on the beach? No. Probably not. Maybe ... as long as no one was looking. @Wendy - Okay, so that's hilarious because I totally had Naul's order of spells picked out for the duel JUST in case I felt like making sure Athrym was not only mad, but hilariously angry: 1) Dullness, 2) Persuasion, 3) Minor Infatuation, 4) Pain. Oh yes. It was totally a plan that was ruined for the better, even if it would've meant more fury.  I never got to 3, which was fine, because Naul was much more interested in getting a clearer glimpse of Athrym's magical ability. Because he's weird that way. He's actually probably just in denial about the possibility of becoming "someone's" helpless evil puppy. It's much easier to look mean on the outside, and I have a feeling Naul's not really the type to attract the best personalities in the opposite gender. (No, I am totally NOT getting my Master's in counseling. Tell me to stop analyzing NAO kthnx. ) /end rambling This thread has kept me sane today, buried in teh work and still no sign of my shiny new G5 tower of joy in the mail. Social pressure. Gotta love it. Okay, I have written way too much. Time to go home now.
