!!!Backstory

Being the sixth child out of eight has never been easy for children. As soon as a baby is born, he needs attention until he is shipped off to Brunnhold. But Percival was different; he was quiet and he never needed attention, which was an accomplishment in his home. He came from a home of eight, with only two girls. His parents, Eugene and Leonidia, had children one right after another. First there was Thomas, then Horatio, then Elijah, then Owliver, then Roshel, and then finally, Percival. His mother gave birth to two other children after him, Owlivia and Gideon. All the children were born in the span of ten years; the Snodgrasses were very fertile.

Growing up around such a big group of people made Percival quite comfortable in crowds. In fact, until Percival was nine he would have panic attacks if he wasn’t around two or more people. He shared a room with two of his brothers, Gideon and Elijah, so he would fall asleep.

Life seemed to skid by fast before Percival attended Brunnhold. He rarely saw his parents, unless for holidays. Percival always had everything he wanted for St. Grumbles. His father never spared an expense; when any of the children’s birthdays came around, they were showered in gifts that formed mountains.

When Brunnhold came knocking, Percival answered with open arms. He had heard wondrous stories of the giant city that doubled as a university. He already had five siblings there and wanted to join their ranks. It seemed that Brunnhold wanted him too; he scored a six on the entry test and was shipped off with ease.

Percivals first year at university was his least memorable. His second year was a bit more memorable, a few school boy crushes here and there, nothing big. His third year was the year that changed everything. All the Snodgrass children were attending Brunnhold. Thomas was about to graduate and Horatio was about to inherent the title of "Snoddy". "Snoddy" was the traditional nickname for the Snodgrass children attending Brunnhold. Whenever a senior Snodgrass graduated, the next Snodgrass in line would inherit the nickname. It was considered quite an honour.

Percival’s third year was also the year he met Jameson, a passive server. Whenever Percival ordered something, Jameson was the one who delivered it. He thought Jameson was rather cute and had a nice personality, but he was taught that passives were broken. Passives were faulty galdori, or so he was taught. After a year of knowing and becoming friends with Jameson, Percy developed his own thoughts on what a passive was. To Percy, a passive was still a galdor; his parents were galdori, and his siblings were galdori. So passives were galdori.

By his fourth year, Percival had started a full fledged affair with Jameson. His family could not know the situation though, he would have been ridiculed and shunned. They had secret rendezvous everywhere, mainly in the East Garden. Percival had fallen for Jameson and fallen hard. He couldn’t go for a day without seeing his partner; he would spend hours writing in his notebooks about their future together.

Another major happening in Percy’s fourth year was his discovery of the theatre. He had decided to join a student troupe known as the “Lords of the Stage”. He thought it would be a good extra curricular activity to keep him sane in the time that he couldn’t see his beloved. Without realizing it, Percy found a second love in the theatre. When he was not studying or seeing Jameson, he was rehearsing and acting. The troupe put on plays for their fellow classmates, usually in the Cloister.

During Percy’s sixteenth year alive, his sixth at Brunnhold, he met Campion Luccullis. Campion had been in several of Percy’s classes of the years, but they had never been close. He had sat next to Campion during one course; needless to say, Physical magic was not his strong suit. Campion had attended one of The Cloister plays and had rather liked it. After briefly conversing about the regular topics two students converse about, they went on to deeper topics. When the subject of passives reared its head, both were surprised about the others views. Percy had finally found someone that he could talk about passivity with, besides Jameson. Campion and Percy became fast friends, though not close.

By the time Percy was eighteen, Percy had become the head of the “Lords”. The troupe had turned him from a man that didn’t care if he was the center of attention or not to someone that wanted the spotlight always on him, literally. He also and happily joined the SPE. Something bad happened that year though, something that changed Percy’s life forever. Percy had decided to become a thespian instead of a lawyer, the profession that his father wanted him to take up. Eugene wanted all his sons to follow in his footsteps and join his firm. Thomas, Horatio, and Elijah had already joined their father’s ranks and Owliver had already started interning at the firm during breaks. Needless to say, Eugene was enraged and decided to disinherit Percy.

When his two proceeding siblings graduated, Percy finally inherited his long sought after nickname, he was finally a Snoddy. His family still tried to keep in touch with him, mainly his mother, Roshel, and Owliver. Owlivia and Gideon were never going to leave their older brother out in the dust like his three oldest brothers; they thought of him just like their father did.

When the time to leave Brunnhold arrived, Snoddy couldn’t stand it. He didn’t want to leave his lover of six years or the place that had given him so much love, but the Aeterna Theatre called; being a thespian was Snoddy’s destiny.

But being back in Vienda was not so pleasant. When people heard his name and saw that he wasn’t a lawyer, they saw him as an oddity. He decided to create a stage name, a new persona for his new life. The only people that were allowed to call him by his previous names were only the people he knew before his transformation. Snoddy had come up with a name that would never be linked back to his family, “Augustus Persiflage”. The name had a nice ring to it and it had meaning; back at Brunnhold, Snoddy was prone to making small jabs at himself every now and then. The meaning beside Persiflage is mockery.

As “Augustus Persiflage”, Snoddy began to work his way up the Viendan theatre scene. He went from extra, to small role, to big role in two and a half years. They weren’t leads, but they did. He became an established name in the Viendan theatre community and even had gigs at the Aeterna Theatre. He had finally saved enough money to buy Jameson’s freedom, a moment he had been dreaming about since he was fourteen. Snoddy went straight to Brunnhold and bought Jameson. The two had a passionate night in Snoddy’s Brunnhold apartment; it was a night of love. When Snoddy awoke, he did not awake to the smell of buttery roles or waffles; he awoke to the smell of an escaped love.

Jameson had deserted Snoddy without even a note. Snoddy waited for Jameson all day and night, he never returned. When it became evident that Jameson was long gone and never coming back, Snoddy broke down. His one true love had left him and he didn’t know what to do.

When Snoddy returned to Vienda, it was obvious he was in a funk. He kept forgetting his lines. Some days he didn’t even show up, and then the producer had enough. The producer sat down Snoddy and had a man to man talk. It was a giant secret that he was having an affair with a passive, but the producer knew something bad happened in his relationship. He told him that lovers come and go, but this guy did not know what he was missing. Snoddy took the producers advice and snapped out of that funk. He memorized all his lines, showed up, and then nailed all the performances; “Augustus Persiflage” was back and better than ever.

Being single and a rising star did have its perks though. Men had started lining up to be with him, he was every man’s dream; money. handsome, and an all around good guy. He had several flings that lasted mere weeks. After he rid himself of one man, he went right after someone else. He could never find the perfect fit. He would always find something wrong with them; their eyes were too far apart, they were too short. He couldn’t help but compare every man that he courted to Jameson; it wasn’t good for either party.

Six months after freeing and then losing his love, Snoddy has regained his pride and is next in line for one of the big lead roles in Vienda. He still, religiously, attends SPE meetings; he is not going to let what one passive did, change his view of the whole race.

!!!Personality

When one thinks of “Augustus Persiflage”, Snoddy, or Percy, they think of a man that was never short on friends. He inherited a very extravagant Bastian personality from his mother, which helped him in the friend department. He rarely insulted people, but always complimented. He also inherited a Bastian voice. He is never quiet. He learned to love the spotlight; the theatre had turned him from a shy boy that needed to be around two people at all times, to someone that could stand on stage all day with all the attention on him

Even though he is one that looks down upon physical conflict, he is not one to stray from it when needed. If you hit him, he’ll hit you right back; probably harder. He gained most of his conflict attributes from his father, the lawyer.

Most people are attracted to Snoddy because of the vibe he gives off, not his field. He gives a good feeling, an intoxicating good feeling.

!!!Physical Description

An average size chap of about 5’5”, Snoddy is far from your average looking galdor. His hair is a beautiful flavescent, with golden accents during the summer. Like the golden accents of his hair, his eyes are a dazzling gold color.

A thespian must be pleasing to the eye, and Snoddy is quite pleasing to the eye. He has a chiseled face with almost symmetric features. His cheek and chin are very pronounced and are one of the many reasons for him either getting cast as the villain or sidekick.

Snoddy’s torso is flat; it doesn’t protrude or intrude into his body, and his chest is as flat as his torso. He doesn’t have any real muscles, but he does have a few hills on his arms thanks to setting up sets when he feels helpful.

!!!Inventory

*A dozen plays, written by him and his colleagues
*a diamond encrusted cane when he feels flashy
*a wardrobe that would make Basil York jealous

!!!Skills

*Quite jovial
*Memorization skills
*Well versed in the ways of the theatre

!!!Goals

Becoming a household name among all the races is one of Snoddy’s main goals in life. He’s a household name among his cast mates and avid theatre goers, but that’s it. Although he wants the SPE to have more members, he doesn’t want it to become public. He has a public persona and if someone saw him going into a meeting and then performing on stage, he’ll be ridiculed and kicked out of most circles. Seeing all passives freed and brought back to their families. He would never agree to letting them live on their own after being locked up, Jameson had spoke many times of trying to topple the government if he ever was freed. Snoddy tried talking him out of it, but he never really get through to him.

Hi, Ty!

Wow, another sheet! How many is this for you? ;P Just be sure that you can handle all these characters and you don't abandon your many others!

There are a few quick things to take care of here:

1) Just be sure you realize that having a large family is rather odd for the galdori. They usually have small families of 1-3 kids. Be sure that you recognize that his family is out of the ordinary, and that the character reflects this unusual upbringing.

2) Grammar and punctuation check! There are several places that need correction. In particular, there are several places where you randomly capitalize words and then you don't capitalize others. Go through and re-check those! Also, pay close attention to your punctuation. Example: "But Percival was different, he was quiet, he never needed attention; which was an accomplishment in his home," the first comma should be a semicolon, second comma should be "and," semicolon should be a comma. Go through and clean it up, and if there is anything specific after the edits we'll let you know.

You're getting pretty ambitious with this sheet! It's good to see you pushing yourself, but be sure you can handle him!

Bump the thread when you've made your changes and we'll get back to you!

Alright, I believe I edited everything correctly. It took a bit, but I got it.

Also, I know I can handle this. I have no life anyway. XD
