Backstory:

Rodrick started at the University of Brunnhold with an unfortunate low score of four on the initiation test. His low score kept him out of most of the advanced classes until age fifteen when he impressed his professors by inventing a mechanical device that acted like a magnet, only it was stronger and yet was small enough it could be hidden inside of a pocket watch.

Unfortunately when he showed this to the professors it ripped every metal item that could be magnetized away from everyone and to his shirt pocket where he had placed the watch. Although he managed to get into the advanced class for technology, he still has three puncture wounds from a fork from that day.

Roderick graduated just like everyone else at age twenty and continued his work as an inventor. To this day he has made many things, but something always jinxes when he is done. Luckily things only tend to hurt him.

Personality:
Growing up in the traditional ways of the galdori, he cares little for the “lower” people of the world. They can be very useful when it comes to getting items for his inventions that he could not normally get in the higher standing society of the galdori, but other than that, he couldn’t care less when a human or wick gets killed. There are so many of them anyway and those lost can be easily replaced.

However if you ignore his prejudicial attitude towards the other people of the world, he is generally quite charming towards women. Galdori women, that is. He will be much nicer to human and wick ladies, but not in the same way. He might still push them to one side and most likely won’t trust them.

Appearance:
Just like most of his kind, Rodick is pale, thin and has almond eyes. He has short black hair and well trimmed mutton chops that he keeps combed and his eyes are a deep green. He keeps everything nice and combed everywhere he goes, even if he is in unsavory territory. His face is long and his high cheek bones make him look unhappy most of the time. Even when he is happy he looks gruff, unless he smiles.

I'll draw him later if he's accepted. It was kind of a spir(?) of the moment kind of thing. Oh, yeah, and I hope the part about the watch isn't too much. lol>

I appreciate you going for a galdor, especially one who ISN'T sympathetic.

If you wouldn't mind, could you beef up his physical description? It's a tad bit short.

Also, there aren't any private houses in Brunnhold for non-staff and faculty. There are houses in the Stacks, but very few galdori live there and the houses tend to be really run-down. If you wanted him to be close to Brunnhold, perhaps he could live in Muffey, which has a lot of galdori and is more upscale. Just something to think about

I hope that is better. Muffey sounded good as a place to make him live, but I have some ideas that would make that not quite work the way I want it to.
