Stephanie is a new character ... a 14-year-old Brunnhold student. She would like to have adventures, learn magic, and just generally have fun with other Brunnhold PCs.

So, please ... plot with me.

Let's throw some ideas around, and write some amazing stores. If you already have a plot and wouldn't mind Steph joining in, that's fine with me as well.

I'd really like to get her posting with other PCs. I can't get to chat, but I would still love Stephanie to be involved in some interesting storylines.

I'm always game for something, but, knowing Naul, it would be largely unpleasant for Stephanie. Or at least marginally uncomfortable.

She happens to be the same age as his sister, Nadia, who is currently an NPC (though she's yet to really come into play anywhere). So, that's an option.

Other than that ... yeaaahhh.

I'd offer Angus but he's largely disinterested in girls. If she needed help with something he'd offer it but other than that he'd just be generally friendly. We can sort something out if you have a goal in mind.

Actually I'd like to take both of you up on your offers. Figured I'd wait to reply, though, until I was sure she wasn't going to pop off in her latest thread and become the shortest-lived character I ever had.

unwanderinggirl: Nadia sounds like a good friend and/or roommate for Stephanie, maybe along with Cartographette's Gertrude.

And I wouldn't mind her having a run-in with Naul. Don't underestimate little Steph ... she might not be all that bright but her osta ain't the only one with claws.

Sharkgirl: It doesn't matter if Angus likes girls or not. Steph's too young for romance. But he could help her with magic. So could Naul. She doesn't need practice with casting specific spells as much as she needs to know the mechanics behind spellcasting, and what spells work on what. She's a bit confused in those areas.

In fact, that is what she really needs right now ... someone to help her with learning magic.

Oh no, it's not just that he's not interested in dating girls, he's not particularly interested in hanging out with them either. Older girls make good friends but in younger grades he more humours them, like an older brother. Angus isn't bad at explaining but he's not particularly academic. If you like we could do a serendipitous thread, where she sees him on one of the rare occasions when he does practice.

Since Stephanie's health is an issue, she could have a check-up at the infirmary. Abe would be available for that

You're always welcome to run into Naul at lunch and/or on the Lawn, but I wouldn't say he'd be helpful in terms of teaching/tutoring magic. It's just not his style.
