 John Lestbrook/Henry
'''Name:''' John "Jack" Lestbrook/Henry '''Age:''' 30 '''Race:''' galdori '''Place of Origin:''' Vienda
!!!Backstory:
John Lestbrook grew up in a privileged galdori household, loved by his parents. In fact, it could be said that John's father loved him a bit more then was socially acceptable...or legal. Despite Mr. Lestbrook giving him everything money could buy, the late night visits were too much for John to handle, and one day, when they went on a fishing trip, Mr. Lestbrook didn't come back. There were a few nasty rumors flying around for a while, but nothing could prove John's involvement in his father's death, so it was labeled an accident.
His mother had never been true to Mr. Lestbrook, but she waited a whole day out of respect for the dead before returning to her infidelity. She was a gold digger, hanging on the arm of rich men who wanted more excitement in their lives. Ms. Lestbrook managed to get steady income as a high society whore, but it was spent on jewels and dresses and parties. It seemed that her son had been forgotten. If she hadn't needed to accompany him to Brunnhold, she might not have noticed he was ten.
John would forever look back at Brunnhold with disdain. He entered with a measly score of three, and so began what would become years of bullying. He was the bully. Not in front of people, though. In front of others, he was a small, twitchy kid who never looked someone in the eye. But every child who teased him soon found themselves looking for their pets ... and they found them gutted, beaten, and sometimes hung. No matter what, though, John always wanted them found. He wanted them to see what he was capable of.
It wasn't too hard for students to notice the pattern. Tease John, lose pet, find pet, cry. When confronted though, he swore it wasn't him. It was Henry. Henry was the cruel one, the one who liked to cut things and watch them bleed. It had been Henry who watched Mr.Lestbrook drown, and it had been Henry who was killing all the animals. He liked to hurt things smaller than him, John said. In truth, Henry was tired of killing things "smaller than him".
John eventually graduated Brunnhold, and a trail of blood followed him all the way back to Vienda. There, he swiftly offed Ms. Lestbrook for his inheritance, which he used to avoid work for some time. Eventually, he ran low, and to avoid becoming homeless, he started to search for a job. It was harder than it sounded, because many jobs were in the control of his former classmates, and none of them wanted to see John again. He was not the best worker in groups either, so often changing his mood, and cringing like someone was constantly yelling in his ear. Finally, he managed to get a fairly solitary job as the accountant for a fledgling company, which allowed him to work at home.
Henry grew restless.
Originally, Henry murdered for revenge. Revenge on his father for stealing his childhood, revenge against the students who always mocked him, and revenge against a mother who forgot him. All of them had reasons to die, so John didn't complain. But as Henry's restlessness grew, so did his lust for killing. Soon, there were long stretches of time that John could not remember. He woke up in odd places, sometimes even covered in blood.
When questioned, Henry revealed what he had been doing, to John's horror. He insisted they turn themselves in, but Henry refused, and convinced him that what they were doing was OK. The people deserved it; they all deserved to die.
No one was pure. No one was good.
No one was safe.
!!!Personality:
John is strange, and it can be quite obvious he's not right in the head. He'll talk to Henry like he's right next to him, and he always hears Henry's voice in his head, constantly berating him. John is twitchy and shy, with odd outbursts of anger for no reason. He can't work in groups, and doesn't feel remorse for anything he does. Can't do well under pressure and isn't that clever. He'd have been caught long ago if it wasn't for Henry.
Henry is a bad person.
He, like John, never feels remorse. Or, for that matter, sympathy, empathy, affection, and in general most human emotions. John doesn't remember most of the bad things that happened in his life, because Henry remembers for him. He is cruel, sick, and twisted. His method of murder is meant to be horrific; it gives him sadistic pleasure to watch the victims writhe in pain . Henry is smart, and calculated. He is the reason John is still at large, and John knows it.
John is extremely submissive to Henry, doing whatever he says with almost no question.
!!!Physical description: John has light brown hair, in need of being swept away from his face constantly. He's trying to grow it long enough to tie up, but it stubbornly refuses to reach the right length.
His eyes are unsettling, such a deep black that the pupil is unrecognisable. Henry finds them very useful when trying to scare someone, but John just thinks they look silly.
John has little fat, and could be mistaken for a scarecrow if he were in a field of corn. Despite being so thin, however, he has an immense amount of wiry strength, and his grip is like a vice. Also, he's very good at bending people's bones the wrong way, and Henry definitely enjoys the sound they make.
!!!MO: The way Henry kills is brutal and gruesome. He practically rips the victim apart, removing organs at whim. Sometimes, if they haven't already gone into shock, he'll even take a match to their wounds. The first thing men lose is their penis, the first thing women lose is their face. The next thing they both lose is their vocal cords, followed by hands.
He's trying to steal their power, both magical and sexual. He does this even to humans.
He seems much more stable then John does, and he takes advantage of this. Instead of jumping out of the shadows, he makes them trust him, leads them to an alley somewhere, and then guts them like animals.
Despite seeming calmer then John, Henry becomes vicious when killing. Originally, he would just beat them to death, and made it appear afterwords that a hatcher had done it. After trying it on a live victim, he found the experience much more fulfilling, and began to rip up all his later victims while they were completely conscious.
There is no use of magic in his crimes, and it could be why none have guessed his origin.
!!!Inventory: *Knives, he has a lot of knives. *Rat poison which is, surprisingly, actually meant for rats.(There's an infestation in his basement.) *Grims. John still tries to get better at magic, which although he's not hopeless with, he finds insistently challenging.
!!!Career: *Accountant: good with numbers. *Serial killer: good at...killing.
!!!Goals: John has one goal: To not get caught. Henry also has only one goal: Kill everybody.
