!!!Backstory:

Born to a prosperous magical family, Alisoina was the pride and joy of her nanny. After showing talents in the study of the mona, she was shunted off to school. However, there is more to this girl than initially meets the eye. The child of a professor and a judge, she had everything a girl could ask for, except one; siblings, leaving her both isolated, and without friends her own age. Spoiled by a loving, passive nanny and a resigned household staff, Alisoina ruled the nursery like a miniature queen. However, this was soon noticed by her parents (her attitude and disobedience shaming them into action), and the nanny was deposed, and a manners instructor put in her place. The surly little girl was soon tamed, if only in appearance. When her training in the finer arts was deemed complete, she was sent off to the mercies of her fellow students. However, there is still something of the burning individualism in her that can be so dangerous to the galdori. Although she has seen her parents since coming to the school, she cares little for them and is polite but aloof, like and good child should be. Throwing herself into early studies granted her a high place in the class. Now she is no less rigorous in her training, attempting spells well beyond her year.

!!!Personality:

Alisoina, a typical galdori girl-child, believes quite soundly that everyone has what he or she deserves out of life, including the dim humans and the offensive, lying wicks. Although she is confused as to what passives position means, having been loved by her passive nanny most profoundly. Proud and foolhardy, Alisoina is feverishly ambitious, and throws herself into her work. However, secretly, she is very lonely and hates having no one to share her ambitions. Never one to ruin the chance to show off, she gets flustered and sullen when defeated on any point. This stems from the lack of sibling, or even friends, to argue with. Alisoina also dislikes other girls, with their primping and coifing and lack of true fire that she sees in so many of the adults. So, she tends to scuffle about the fringe of the boys groups in her class, trying to fit in with them to ease her loneliness. In fact, where Alisoina would never trust a girl, she finds it very easy to believe a boy's word. Even when she ought to know better, to possibly disastrous consequences.

!!!Physical Description:

Like many of the glamorous galdori, she has curling red hair, bronze in summer and copper in winter. It hangs down her back, almost to her thighs. Alisoina's eyes are brilliant, a yellow ring surrounding the pupil, fading into a lime green near the edge of the iris. Her soft, girlish face belies the intensity of those eyes, which shine with anticipation and ambition. Normally clad in medium length dresses in dark blue or rust, Alisoina is rather careless about stockings and jewelry, finding them far less stimulating than a good read. However, she owns a few girlish dresses in pink and sky blue, for special occasions. She wears her hair either loose, or with one clasp near the bottom to keep it from blowing about. Tall, and average weight for a child, her hips promise to soon flare, and her newly blossomed bust is ripening at an astounding rate. Intrigued by these physical changes, she notices neither the freckles that are popping up along her shoulders and cheeks, nor the fullness of her rose-petal lips. However, these things are slightly out of place on her still childish body. Although she promises to be a striking woman, her snub nose and bony knees will keep her from true beauty. But right now, she's just lusting after the tantalizing promise of womanhood that seems to hang just out of reach.

!!!Goals

Alisoina wants to be the next major political figure and have everyone do exactly as she says. And to attain this goal, she realizes that much study and effort will be needed, and political networking. Although women have equal clout to the men in galdori society, Alisoina tends to ignore that, and spends most of her time trying to work her way into the male circles. Although this is a more secret goal, Alisoina also desperately wants to be recognized as a desireable, attractive woman, and while working for friendships with the boys, also wants them to notice her for more than her keen mind.
