!!!Backstory:
The name Smythe Wolfbane is a false name that Rupert Rain gave himself when he casted away his former life. When he was five years old, his father, mother decided that they would take Rupert and his twin brothers and drift from the Black Hand tribe and start a life of their own. At first, the family had intentions of leading an honest life and forging a tribe of their own. After two years the family had been doing fairly well, until on one trip through the deserts of Mugroba, Rupert’s father Leshair was attacked by highwaymen and the families’ entire inventory was stolen. Being left for dead, Leshair survived and dragged himself through the wastes of the desert back to the families’ camp, which was a full day’s walk from where his cart was attacked. After dragging himself through the desert for two days; the lack of food and water had made the man somewhat crazed.

Whether because of the cruel turn of events, or Leshair’s delirium, he started training Rupert and his twin brother’s Armand and Legia in the art of thievery. Their mother Eleanor did not reject to these motions because she felt that every decision that Leshair made was well founded. After four years of hands on and solitary training, the three boys were turned into master thieves at the ages of 12 and 10. Leshair used his small syndicate of pickpockets to make much monetary gain, sending the boys on perilous missions of thievery. The family was well of, though they lived in the wilderness near wraithwine wood by choice. Leshair dressed himself in nobleman’s clothes and commanded the boys like they were a highly skilled regiment of thieves, and rightly so: They had skills that matched many thieves twice their age.

When Rupert reached 14, his father also trained well in the art of reading lips and deception. Rupert was now employed by his crime-lord father as a communicator and gather of information. He used these skills well, and eventually started to make his own side profit as a source of information around Old Rose Harbor.

Two months after Rupert’s 16th birthday, he awoke to the screams of his mother and the sounds of men in pain. He ran out of his low tent to find his families camp being attacked by a large pack of around twenty bander wolves. The battle lasted on through the night, with only Rupert and his father surviving, though Leshair had sustained very bad wounds. Leshair lay dying in his bed the next day; seeing the error of his ways he apologized to his son for turning him and his brothers into monsters.
Rupert ran from everything for the next six years, roaming the wilderness and living of the land, killing all Bander wolves in his path. He finally returned to his families’ camp out in the wriathwine woods and went through his families possessions. A lot of what they had owned had been ransacked by bandits, but Rupert was able to find what he now carries on his back. Since this time, Rupert has adopted his alias Smythe Wolfbane. He now lives in Old Rose Harbor, in an apartment in the Blue Umbrella with his pets. He works in Old Rose as a street musician and a “hiring hand” of sorts.

!!!Personality:
Despite Smythe’s time spent in the wilderness alone, he seems very civilized, almost royal. He carries himself with a very graceful stride. He is very self confident, and can at times be a little arrogant. Smythe despises bander wolves, and will attack any he finds in the wild, and will generally not do business with anyone who keeps such a creature as a pet. He does not directly get involved with political or religious struggles, unless he is paid well. Smythe tends to avoid most social situations with humans and galdori alike, unless it involves employment. He has an affinity for animals, excepting banders and dogs, and often takes stray domesticated animals in as his own. Smythe is very intelligent, and has a great memory. Although he abstains from reckless or self destructive behaviors and habits, he smokes tobacco from a long black ornate pipe regularly. He also avoids getting dirty to an almost obsessive extent, unless he is working. Although he carries a spoke’s almanac and is interested in magic, he rarely uses it, seeing it as a tool for the weak.

!!!Appearance:
Smythe has a very feral appearance, with a wiry frame. He is very well kempt, and wears his long platinum blonde hair back in a knot. He always wears a large brimmed black hat sporting a large purple plume. Smythe wears a very regal outfit, purple with black pinstripes and a flowing cloak, that noticeably covers his leather jerkin. He carries his mandolin across his back, and brandishes a rapier at his side. Two daggers lay concealed in his long leather gloves, and he carries a set of thieves tools tucked hidden in the back of his pants. He carries a small pack and is followed by a small parade of creatures.

Pets and Mounts:
*Criegory: a male moa with a deep purple plumage. Criegory bares no saddle, and is kept very clean. He is Smythe’s oldest companion, and Smythe’s attachment to the bird is easily seen.

*Daida: A female osta that Smythe has known almost as long as Criegory. Smythe also loves Daida greatly, and uses her to send and receive messages to various contacts throughout Old Rose Harbor.

*Regan: A male osta that Smythe has recently acquired. He doesn’t use Regan for much yet, though he is trying to train Regan to perform the same jobs as Daida so that he can send the male osta on the more “despicable” missions.

*Truglet: a male whice with a light blue plumage that utters fowl-mouthed statements at women, Smythe originally intended to use the bird to “record” conversations that targets are having. He rarely uses the bird because Truglet usually blows Smythe’s cover in risky situations. He still adores Truglet, and keeps him around in his room for a good laugh.

*Tori and Rori: two female house cats that Smythe has recently adopted. The two are the same age and look strikingly similar. They are his most recent acquisitions, and he adores them because they remind him of his younger brothers.

!!!Goals:
Smythe’s goals as of now are to just live life day to day. He has aspirations of running a guild of rogues in the future who carry out the same jobs he does now, and making his guilds trademark their use of animal companions. He hopes that one day he will be able to take in renegades like himself and put them on the map as a credible rogue’s guild.

I think it's awesome. Nora would love you, what with all those animals. Ugh, and I don't have any chars in ORH right now... sadness. I'd love them to meet you.

Yes, i like that aspect too.....I hope I don't have to get rid of any of my pets.....i cut a few out as it was.

Haha- you shouldn't have to. Nora had a bunch, and she let me keep them. I wound up getting rid of one in-game, but that was the nature of the situation. I believe it's sort of a "as long as you can keep up with them/afford them..." situation, usually.

alright....hopefully i won't be as broke in game as in real life. haha.
