Hand-thrown clay mug of coffee still clutched in her hands, she was wandering across the camp on her way to discovering breakfast. The purple-haired witch was humming to herself as she walked, but stopped once she noticed Warwick and Hal, "Hesta, kovs. What kind of trouble are you two into this mornin', eh?" His logic was sound, more or less, except for the fact that Hal himself was a virtual stranger and, by extension, an audience. Warwick was still trying to figure out how to put this into words, phosphur held between two fingers, when Eri came out. That, at least, made his expression bloom. He pointed at her with it, bright and cheerful, and raised both of his eyebrows in an imploring sort of way. "Tell'im I ent never dropped anything in front of ye, so'e stops wetting himself over it." _________________ I am blue/MacKay. Hal growled, barely restraining himself from giving Warwick what-for with his fists. He was, after all, still holding a phosphor bulb. Instead he settled for a simmering glower at the fauxhawked wick. He huffed irritatedly and turned to the new arrival, Eriyenna, who he had met briefly but with whom he rarely fraternized. "You c'n tell him to stop treatin' my lights like balls of yarn what can take a fall an' be fine." She smiled awkwardly, humming in thought before responding slowly, "You two ent fightin' already, are you? Hal, I've seen Warwick toss Calli about a bit, an' he ent dropped her yet ... But, Warwick, I'm sure even a bit of fumblin' happens to the best of us." The purple-haired witch giggled, hoping to break the tension with her teasing, smile softening, "Lights ent worth fightin'." He looked staunchly incredulous. "He's been tossin' Calli around? Ticks, I knew she was reckless, but..." he let it hang, looking sidelong at Warwick in a deadpan expression. He only half-meant it, though, and internally he was half-laughing. Not a lot. Just a little. Arms over his knees, he leaned in a little, with the bulb still dangling from between two fingers in that same almost-careless manner. No, he didn't really respect the phosphurs, but maybe he would after Hal worked the illusion with him. After a moment, he looked up at Eri with mock-amazement, eyes very wide and eyebrows raised almost all the way up into his hair. "...it ent broke, Eri!" He let that settle, sink in, before clarifying. "His sensa humor. It ent broke!" _________________ I am blue/MacKay. It's nice of you to dust it off for the boy." The purple-haired witch resisted the urge to ruffle both their mops of hair, preferring to cradle the mug of coffee in both her hands with another musical giggle, "An', oes, Hal. Warwick's got quite a few ideas on some benny acts." He looked puzzled for a moment, then answered, "Honestly, I don't know fer sure..." He finished coiling up the cable and tied it off with a twist of wire. He rose and took it just inside the kint, and, hanging it on its respective hook, "Wit' you circus folk, half the time I don't know." He pulled out a broken light unit that needed to be dismantled for parts and went shuffling around for a monkey wrench, "You circus people are pretty strange. Warwick cut in easily, with a grin, both of his eyebrows raised and his head tipped to the side. He looked bright, and excited, and cheerful, as he leaned forward for more rags to wrap the bulb. He also, around the edges, looked a little cagey. He'd been in one place too long, maybe, or maybe he was just ready to get the show on the road. Quite literally. "Says he c'n rig th' lights te do what we want. No rush, though, kov." Warwick offered a grin, light and teasing. He hiked one of his shoulders, waving absently at Eri. "I mean, I ent much good at all that, but there's some wicks an' witches who can do some amazing lights an' illusion...ah. The musician considered, "I've got a few routines where I use Wild Lights, actually. I even think Calli's put a few spells in a few of her acts.
