Post Isolation ((at a secret location)) Intas 2, Midnight
Well. First mission a success. At probably a horrible cost.

It was midnight, and Triar Vahl led Emme Anders to the location that he was instructed to, arriving just at enough time to make the deadline.

That didn't mean it made Triar feel any better about the whole situation.

He'd been instructed to get Emme out of danger from possible assassination from the galdor empire, because of her, rather mild one might add, ties to the human rebellion. Triar honestly didn't know exactly who was out after her, or exactly why, but he had his orders, and if he was going to be anything worthwhile in this resistance, he had to do his job, especially keeping people like Emme safe.

He patted her on the shoulder as they approached the how, trying to be as comforting as he could to someone who was about to hide away from possible trouble... possible life ending trouble. "We're here."

He looked down at her again, looking as tentative as ever, untrusting of everyone and everything around her, and he couldn't blame her. He would be unsure of his ties if the galdor hadn't had smashed him in the face with it.

"..Thank you, Emme. I'm really sorry that it had to come to this.. I'm...just trying to protect you."

His voice managed to break up a little bit, against his will. So much for acting like the tough guy.

Emme was terrified, freezing and still uncertain if she should trust Triar. The night had gone from bad to catastrophic, and she hadn't even had time to get her journal from under the floorboards, or say goodbye to Hania and Jott...

She found herself unable to speak, and merely nodded, tight-lipped, at the masked man leading her away from the city she lived in.
