1. She doesn't know what a November is.
2. She's quite fond of asparagus.
3. When asked, she'll tell you she never writes anything not on her typewriter. In reality, she rather enjoys hand writing her articles before she types them.
4. Given the chance, she'll pretend she can't hold her liquor--people tell all sorts of things to drunks simply because they think them too out of it to remember what was said the next morning.
5. Annie has a thing for thick eyebrows.
6. In her spare time, when nobody is around to see, Annie likes to knit.
7. Her (original) fedora is a hand-me-down from her biological father, left with her by her mother when she was an infant, handed over to Nata.

1. When very, very drunk likes to tell people that he is a Mugrobi spice trader on his way back to Thul Ka, and when asked about physical differences will say that he ate this weeeeird pigmentationwhotsit altering plant and that’s why his skin’s so light!
2. Actually has been to Mugroba and other foreign places via ship jobs. Surprise!
3. Is kind of an asshole.
4. Is good with quick things like knives and small daggers, but woefully average with larger variations of the pointy stick.
5. ‘s voice would be surprisingly light and clear if he didn’t talk like a crazy person.
6. No conscience. None. Well. Maybe a little…
7. Speaks primarily through his ass.
8. Has an acute fear of large witches due to having been spanked so often as a child.
9. Has changed loads in my head since first posting his profile.
10. Very vain about the hair and actually touches up the dye whenever he gets the chance.

First, Eran.
1. He speaks with what would be a drawly southern accent in my head, despite making no sense on Vita. So if you post with him, he's talking like that.
2. He actually does have OCD, but I just can't write it very well, having only mild symptoms of it myself.
3. If you haven't seen his meme, he is bi/gay. I'm not sure which; it'll come out in plot, maybe. Pun not really intended. He wasn't originally designed to be #2 or #3, but they just happened and stuck, and have enabled me to play him a bit more easily.
4. He's shy, somehow. I don't know why he's shy, or how it happened.
5. A person I've found to be kind of like his personality, just from reading, was Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables, if you've ever read that.
6. He really, really wants a kid. Secretly, though. And it would make him sad to realize how he feels about the ladies, so don't tell him. He'd be a good dad, though. If he could have a kid, he'd want a little girl.
7. He doesn't like spicy food, but will eat it anyway without comment.
8. His favorite color is blue, followed by green. He often wishes he had a blue shirt.
9. He can read, but not very well. If he ever had to read a book IC, he'd be sounding things out and would be very embarrassed. His handwriting is also horrible, because he was left-handed, and we all know what happened then. He hasn't had to write enough to train his right to be legible, so his handwriting looks like someone writing with their wrong hand who's not accustomed to it.
10. The reason why he insists on wearing a shirt to the beach in noncan is because he has quite a few scars on his torso that raise questions he hates answering over and over again, and also because of the presence of a good amount of manhair I didn't feel like describing, as it would gross me out. He's a very manly sort of guy.

I don't really have player characters so I'll do some facts about my NPCs!

1. Iale's middle name is Zara. Her name is Bastian. Five years ago she killed her father because he tried to steal her captain's ship.
2. Stu has bright blue eyes, the only interesting feature on his relatively boring face; his full name is Stuart Grey. He looooves chicken noodle soup, it's his third favorite thing in the world (this was supposed to come up in "Stale Bread" but got edited out for length). He acquired the Book and Bell from his father, who acquired it from his father, etc...his family has been in Vienda for time immemorial. He's worried that he's never going to get married and carry on the family name now that his younger brother Ben is dead. (He died of syphilis. yikes.)
3. Ophelia is addicted to coffee. She has a secret pot under her desk. She also likes novels about life at sea.
4. Speaking of books, Harper Moore's favorite book is about otters; it's his favorite animal. It's technically a children's book but he insists that it's "very accurate and informative"; doesn't hurt that it has pictures either. It's called The Otter: Our Aquatic Friend. He reads it every year. Harper has family in Vienda that he hardly ever sees: a brother, Caspen, and a sister, Brigaan Shirkwild (who married and had three children).
6. Ellie's full name is Eliawen Elaine Elliott - yes her parents are REALLY mean.
7. Ceres is pronounced "SARE-ees". Devlin chose the name because it was the name of a drake in a Hessean myth. Devlin used to dream about moving to Hesse and setting up a cottage on the plains somewhere.
8. Ginny's full name is Virginia Dair. She was a member of Laughing Sky offshoot before some unpleasantness occurred and she ran away from home. She met Stu when she was attempting to rob him at...stickpoint in an alley.
9. Jerzy (short for Jerzeks, a Hoxian name, but don't ever call him that) was a sickly kid. He missed out on a lot of crucial lessons in life, which is why he's terrible at crafts, hunting and setting up tents. He has a reputation for womanizing, which is largely earned.
10. Silas Hawke, though not much is known about him, does have a lot of weird and contradictory habits. He has claimed at various points in his life to despise, and alternatively love, the sound of the violin; at another point he showed total indifference to it. Once he stole away from Old Rose to go fishing in the Muluku Islands, alone, for six days; another time he slapped a foreign trader for suggesting they go fishing on his yacht. It is very difficult for his servants to bring him lunch without fear of reprisal, for his favorite foods seem to change from day to day.

Here follow ten hitherto unknown or largely unpublicized facts about Basil Ambrose Shrikeweed

1. Since he was about the age of ten, no one whom he knows well, family included, has ever called him Basil. To most he is simply Shrikeweed, to his father he is either Shrikeweed the Younger or My Dear Fellow, and to his elder brother William, he is known as Sideweed on account of his luxuriant side whiskers.

2. Shrikeweed's mother, one Cordelia Madeline Shrikeweed (nee Puffin) is a author of moderate success known chiefly for her satirical novels and deeply unsympathetic, though amusing, characters.

3. He dislikes wicks on account of their nomadic tendencies, which means they lack in his mind civic virtue as well as the all important paperwork. He animosity also originates in the fact that male wicks are very free and easy with their tonsorial arrangements and enact such violence and ill treatment upon the common cravat such that it is scarcely to be believed.

4. He has never been in love, drunk, or late to work. He firmly believes that the former two lead inevitably to the latter and thus seeks to avoid them with considerable industry.

5. His closest friend is a lawyer with the unfortunate name of Godfrey Norland Cotswold-Wainwright V, who is universally known as Wainscoting. Both are members of the Pendulum club and there one can usually find them either playing billiards (at which Shrikeweed habitually wins) or fencing (at which Shrikeweed habitually looses).

6. Shrikeweed has an aversion to wearing clothing that is predominantly either black or white. These colors do make an appearance in the Shrikeweedian wardrobe, but only as accent colors and the like.

7. For the past many years Shrikeweed has been no further than four or so miles from either his home, his office, or his club. The roughly triangular area between these pillars of his life is very well traveled by the clerk, as he frequently walks there of an evening. However, the wider world is know to Shrikeweed in only a general sort of way, such as one might get from atlases and books of politics and history.

8. He has a strange liking for eels. Generally grilled and seasoned with a spicy sauce.

9. In his youth, Shrikeweed wanted to keep cuttlefish, both because he found them fascinating and because it would be rather nice to have a ready source of fine ink. However, his mother objected on the grounds that cuttlefish were not the sort of animals to be kept by the son of a gentleman. She also found the way they always seemed to stared at her to be very supercilious and vaguely unsettling.

10. Oddly enough, Shrikeweed enjoys singing (though only in the comfort of his home). He is actually not, in any way, a bad singer, though he does sound a bit like a comic villain in an operetta.

1. Has such an undying love for spicy things that she regurlerly steals bottles of tobasco sauce from the kitchens, and will drink it on her breaks.
2. Second only to her love of spicyness is garlic.
3. Will ocasionaly coregraph complex dances to the sights and sounds of people working.
4. Has glaucoma, but wont go completely blind for many years.
5. Despite her very small voice, she is not a very high soprano.
6. Good dancer, bad singer.
7. Would never admit it, but has always wanted to try smoking. She thinks it makes people look so cool.
8. Would also never admit to being sick or having a cold.
9. Hates fish.

John/Henry:
1. Henry hates soup, it reminds him of his childhood. John doesnt really care.
2. If Henry ever "left" John, he would have a complete mental breakdown.
3. Henry also is somewhat afraid of water melons. There is no rational explanation for this, he just is.

6. John, although afraid of getting caught, does not regret Henry's murders.

3. She has a thing for older men, particularly muscley ones, though she's not fond of beards.
4. She really wants a pet cat but she's more of a dog person.
5. She always checks that Piran is asleep when she comes home from work because she's worried that if she doesn't check, he'll be taken away.
6. Fion was a party animal in her teens, she used to go out whenever she didn't have work and dance.

4. "Abe" is pronounced like good ol' Honest Abe, but "Abeline" has a short a, like in cat.

5. Her birthday is Yaris 5th. She always goes to Vienda to spend her birthday with her father. Always. No exceptions.

6. She rarely received physical affection as a child, so being touched is weird to her. It's partly a trust issue, too, but she's paranoid and can't/won't trust anyone unconditionally.

7. Abe's mother was a librarian. She looks remarkably like her. Like scarily so.

8. Her father never hired a cook and had no live-in maids. The money he saved was spent on hiring better tutors for his daughter. This is part of why she's such a smart cookie.

9. She is terrified of having children. Raising them would be fine, but the idea of giving birth scares her. She's convinced she'd die.

10. Abe's entire family is eccentric, and she had few childhood friends. She hadn't interacted with "normal" people on a daily basis until coming to Brunnhold.

Nauleth:
1. Actually had quite a lovely childhood, was close to his parents and siblings, and felt rather loved; it was the relative isolation of Brunnhold that changed much of his attitude and behavior.
2. Likes small children and would secretly enjoy a large family.
3. If he could go back through Brunnhold and start over, he would probably have taken more art classes.
4. Gets queasy at the sight of blood and strongly dislikes physical confrontation.
5. Is hopelessly disorganized but far from dirty.
6. Is one of those people who probably needs to be reminded to eat, especially when he's studying or onto something particularly interesting.
7. Would never admit to having a thing for Athrym since fourth form out loud without the assistance of magical persuasion.

Tristaan:
1. Grew up closer to his sister and his hardly-home father than to his mother, who never really wanted a second child.
2. Made a pact with Nevinia in the woods behind their house when he was six that they'd join the Seventen together and conquer the world.
3. Always let his sister win and didn't cry about it.
4. Had to be beaten unconscious before he was tattooed as a passive once he was picked up off the streets for factory work.
5. Is terrible with anything involving numbers, and was frequently in trouble in the factory for miscounting, regardless of his impressive work ethic.
6. Often did work for the sick or young whenever possible and was more than willing to take beatings/punishments for others when he felt they couldn't take it.
7. Was set up with probably everyone's of-age daughter, mostly by Guaril in an attempt to keep him around with the Red Crow.
8. Totally wished his diablerie was something fatal and fiery not because he'd want to hurt people but so that he'd only have to experience it once.
9. If pressed or otherwise cornered into answering, would admit to still firmly believing he's galdori, but he is no longer sure of the implications of that belief.

Nevinia:
1. Was definitely closer to her brother than either of her parents, though she was definitely her mother's daughter.
2. Cried the whole way to Brunnhold because she was leaving Tristaan behind for two more years.
3. Cried her whole first year of Brunnhold because she was told he was dead, though she may have been a little suspicious the entire funeral.
4. Still thinks her parents are hiding something.
5. Honored her childhood promise by becoming a Seventen, though she admits that sometimes it only reminds her of what she's lost.
6. Wants to get the hell out of Vienda and Anaxas and see the world. Desperately.
7. Is terrified of having children and has shrugged off her fair share of suitors.
8. Is an excellent cook and seriously dislikes food in the barracks.
9. Was not a particularly good student, favoring sports and physical activities that were probably more than a little unfashionable for a girl.

Eriyenna:
1. Had her first crush on a mandolin she saw on Surwood at the age of five.
2. Is a night owl and hates mornings. Sunset is a perfectly acceptable time to wake up and start the day, in her opinion.

4. Has had several relationships and was almost married when she was younger at her parents' request, but she always realized performing and music were more important.

5. Enjoys baking but would never tell anyone that.
6. Only sleeps 4 hours a night.
7. Prefers the company of women, but really would rather be alone. It's less complicated and dangerous that way.
8. Would consider stringing along a blacksmith or a pharmacist or both if only for the access to sharp objects and fun chemicals.
9. Is practically a vegetarian, save for eggs and hingles. (And she only likes hingles if she can kill them herself.)
10. Loves the rain, but only if there's lightning and thunder to go with it.

Corwynn:
1. Kissed his first girl at three or four at one of his father's various social events. It was all down hill from there, though he has not always been entirely gender exclusive. His personal motto is to try anything once, especially when clothing is optional or not required.
2. Shot his first person at 15, a household servant, quite by accident while practicing in the garden. He has enjoyed it ever since.
3. Chased the older girls from first form until he graduated. Definitely chases the younger ones now, but isn't necessarily as discerning as that sounds.
4. Got out of his one and only marriage (arranged by his parents) by simply not showing up to the altar. It is not coincidence he made Old Rose his official residence on the same day.
5. Has maintained relatively longer term relationships (as in longer than a one-night stand or a few weeks), but considered such an activity more like collecting or keeping a pet than commitment. Usually prefers to juggle more than one such arrangement at once to keep from getting bored and to add a little element of personal danger.
6. May love guns and girls, but he secretly loves the ocean more.
7. Has an island he's already picked out for "retirement" and/or permanent "vacation," should the situation arise. He also has a boat ready.
8. Dislikes children of all ages, though he probably has more than a few of his own somewhere.

Seth:
1) Has always been mentally unstable, and is actually slightly schizophrenic, attributing the voices he hears to his cat.
2) Is allergic to nuts, particularly to almonds, which could very likely kill him in moderate amounts.
3) Is very uncomfortable around prostitutes and doesn’t like being touched by one, likely due to their diseases, but understands that many of them feel they have no other options and can respect this type.
4) Has a particular disliking for men who would cheat on their partners, perhaps out of some sense of honor.
5) Is fond of wicks females, particularly the ones of slender build.
6) Could actually befriend a galdor, if said galdor was nice/ sympathetic- while he fears the galdori, he doesn’t outright hate them
7) Can hold his liquor very well, and likes the strong stuff- but doesn't quite like the hangovers one gets from over imbibing
8 ) Doesn’t know what he would do or even if he could ever move on if something happened to his cat, Rita
9) Is sometimes too friendly for his own good
10) Is still a virgin- while he claims this is simply because he hasn’t found ‘the one’, it is probably due to the fact that he can be awkward around pretty girls


Artemis:
1) Both his parents are dead, his mother dying of illness in his late teens, his father committing suicide shortly after
2) Tends to avoid close relationships with people, though deep down wouldn’t mind having a few friends he could count on, and has recently found that he actually has a strong desire for a love life.
3) Speaks his mind- perhaps a lot more than he should, which tends to get him in a spot of trouble now and then. While he realizes this, he rarely bothers attempting at restraint- it can be fun to walk a thin line, and it is quite entertaining to watch people getting flustered. He particularly enjoys when someone can keep up with him- until that person manages to outdo him.
4) Actually had an intimate relationship with a beautiful young lady, once. He doesn’t like to discuss this.
5) Yes. His name is feminine, due to the fact that his mother had so longed for a girl; she gave him the planned name, anyway, much to his chagrin. He has no masculine middle name to fall back on.
6) His worst fear was once heights due to vertigo. Now, his worst fear is probably finding himself on the wrong end of Corwynn’s pistol. Again. For obvious reasons.
7) His favorite pastime is practicing with his blades, and he does so until his body can exert itself no longer. It is a daily practice.
8 ) He hates losing, but rarely- if ever- resorts to cheating to get the upper hand- this is the coward's way out, which would, in fact, be worse than losing. At least if one loses, one can learn from it.
9) He rather likes storms, and the cold, his favorite season being winter.
10) Is a depressed drunk. When he is drunk, he still retains his liking for big words, but can’t quite get them out as well, slurring them, and will occasionally use the wrong word entirely.

Facts about Murmur:

1. She is actually a rather good cook- or at least at making food out of seemingly useless/unwanted ingredients like guts and brain and vegetable peelings.
2. Murmur has been in love once- when she was 16 and a darn sight better looking, with a tanner. By then she had already developed a tolerance for bad smells but this relationship marked the start of her downright fondness of them. There was no drama in the breakup, she just couldn't see a future with a man who spent his days thigh deep in cow urine on the outskirts of Vienda- it was a distance thing.
3. Boiled crab is hands down Murmur's favorite food.
4. She is pretty sure that she'd make a terrible wife and mother and publicly makes it clear she has no desire to be either- though she is terribly frightened of being alone.
5. Murmur can't remember the first fight she got into, there have been a lot over the years. But there is a good chance she lost it.
7. Most of her siblings can't read, but her oldest sister's husband taught her a little when she was thirteen. She used it to label items but her spelling and grammar has always been atrocious, privately she wishes she could read more books.
8. Her best time ever for completely gutting and deboning a fish was 15 seconds flat.
9. She has one teeny tiny vanity and that is her waist, she thinks she has a very nice waist and even when her clothes are dirty, when they are covered in fish guts and falling apart they always show off her waist
10. She's bitten over twenty people. They should probably have gotten shots.

Facts about Campion:

1.He was 31 days late to his own birth and as a result was a very large baby something which his mother- who hasn't eaten a full meal since she was twelve and has hips that don't look like they could pass wind let alone a baby- probably hasn't quite forgiven him for.
2. His favourite alcoholic beverage is a starfly- though that's like saying his favorite STI is herpes, most alcohol makes him rather sick and he's a definite light weight.
3. On his parent's insistence, he has taken fencing classes, archery lessons, piano lessons, tried to learn languages and failed at essentially everything he's tried apart from art and, surprisingly, long distance running which came in useful when running away from people.
4. At school, Campion's favourite thing to do involved playing pranks on the patron who he always fondly referred to as 'daddy'
5. He has two older brothers, Vervain and Chervil. Chervil is a huge great whale man and used to sit on him a lot, Vervain is married with two sons and a lot of mistresses.
6. At Brunnhold, his best friend was a boy named Teapot (that's a nickname, no parent is that evil). In his first year, Teapot put Campion in a bin and he was stuck in there for four hours. They later became friends when Teapot discovered Campion could drink an impressive amount of vinegar and that he didn't fit in the bin anymore. Teapot was quite possibly the worst influence a boy could ever ask for.
7. He used to have terrible acne, really terrible. When he hit 17 it cleared up and he inadvertently became attractive to the opposite sex for the first time. It was a big shock for everyone involved.
8. On the last day of Brunnhold he did a naked lap of the sports field- Teapot (see 6.) assured him a whole group were going to do it. They didn't. Campion preformed his lap solo and found his clothes hanging in a tree.
9. Campion claims that he is allergic to everything boring.
10. When he is particularly stressed he gets nose bleeds, it used to happen nearly everyday as a child.

10 things about...

Warwick:
1. He's had one girlfriend in his life. His brother totally poached her before it had a chance to go anywhere. He didn't complain.
2. He broke his arm once, when he was young and still learning some tricks. He didn't cry.
3. Actually, it'd be damned hard to make him cry. He hasn't since he was about 7 or 8.
4. When I originally came up with him, he was going to have a 4 y/o daughter. It didn't seem right, though, in the setting.
5. He was more or less raised by his older brother. Saying his parents were absent is an understatement.
6. His brother doesn't call him Warwick. He calls him "Les".
7. He carries three hoops in his bag; he can fit his body through all three of them at once. It's kind of a freaky contortionist act.
8. He's not particularly good at magic, but this is probably largely due to lack of discipline. He could be whipped into shape.
9. His brother, on the other hand, is extremely strong magically, and probably preferred to keep the upper hand like that.
10. I don't know what most of his tattoos mean. The empty space on his hip, though, is supposed to one day contain a peacock. Left it empty so I could RP him getting it.

Arthur:
1. I think he might be a sociopath, but he's so darned cute no one cares!
2. His accent is totally ripped from Oliver Twist. Cough.
3. Originally, he and his siblings were going to be named One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven....and so on. But Art just fit too perfectly for him.
4. He actually had rather good parents who just bit off more than they could chew. If they had the time, they would have gone looking for him.
5. Sometimes, he names the stray cats in Vienda. He can just never remember their names, so they get new ones every week.
6. Secretly, he thinks it'd be friggen sweet to be a Seventen.
7. Mostly because he thinks they can get away with anything, and he would love to abuse that power.
8. I dread what he'd be like once puberty really hit, and hope that the RP never gets there.
9. He's never been kissed. Not a real kiss.
10. ...but he's kind of okay with that. Kisses are nicer in theory that practice, he thinks.

Rosalie
1. She's more than a little racist. She just...doesn't classify herself in the group of 'lesser races'.
2. Sometimes she dreams that she's a Seventen. She doesn't do it for the abuse of power.
3. Given the choice between a sword and a gun, she'd probably prefer the sword but take the gun. Sure, she prefers class, but she's practical.
4. She'd take magic over either of them.
5. She sleeps around, but in a controlled way. Men can do it, can't they? So why can't she?
6. She likes to read, or used to enjoy it, but doesn't really have the time or the means anymore.
7. She genuinely loves being on a boat, and running a boat.
8. Her absolutely certain assertion that she would never turn to piracy would probably crumble, with enough pressure put on it.
9. So would the rest of her morals.
10. She's desperate for a place in the world.

Dawin
1. I dunno if he's gay. Really don't! I think he is, though, if only due to the overbearing mother thing. Cough.
2. He and his dad look almost nothing alike, but are remarkably similar.
3. Both of them would be startled to hear that.
4. He's carelessly racist. He has no issues with humans, they're just servants. It's how it goes. Life is hard.
5. If he were pushed into it, he could actually be rather athletic.
6. I have another char in another RP named Da-Wei. These two characters are nothing alike, I just liked the name. It's a total mindfuck for me and I mix up their names a lot.
7. Until he was about 8-9, he was actually a rather small child. His sudden height took him by surprise and, quite frankly, scared him a little.
8. His dreams are almost all of flying. Either in an aeroship or on his own.
9. Sometimes I listen to the Spring Awakening soundtrack when I write him.
10. The more uncomfortable he is, the more fun I have RPing him.

Ten things you may or may not know about Shi:

1. She loves clean shallow waters, is not afraid of cold, but is phobic of deeper waters.
   
2. She's nearly tone deaf, and her sense of rhythm isn't better. Hey, try to listen to your first real music, other than half forgotten children lullabies, at 16! Only her recognizing the way her sword whistles and internalizing the rhythm of her katas show there might be some undeveloped potential.
3. Totally unaware that her larger hips correspond to current Anaxi fashion (along with her writer until recently), she's nostalgic of her youth thin body.
4. She has a navel fetish, especially for pretty young women ones. So strong that she might have turned bi-sexual, if other witches had been able to pick her Hoxian-raised-restrained signals, even further repressed because she felt it would have been unfaithful for her human husband. (Not that he would have minded, but she never asked)
5. Shi has a great respect for age generally. She has a special admiration for Durg Maxine, and would do anything for her.
   
6. She somehow still believes galdori have a born right/duty to be the world leaders and the guardians of the less-magical races. She just wishes they'd leave them free instead of enslaving them.
   
7. She has yet to cry for Neti, and despite what she thinks still wants to know exactly what happened. (And she's giving hell to her writer by not wanting to be a resident cry-baby while being adamant on not betraying her back-story)
8. For Shi, control is the epitome of power. She's more impressed by subtlety than impressive displays.
9. She's spent countless hours training at NOT sub-vocalizing a Pull during quick drawing practice, after one time the mona reacted to it. (She has also practised drawing the sword with a Pull when younger, thus the bad habit, but wants it to be controlled).

3. Spent two weeks disguised as an old man, and was so convincing she was cared for by a human woman and her family. She was only found out when she started her 'cycle'.
4. Often walks around with eyes of two colors, mainly because she gets in a rush and forgets to add the dye to one.

6. Or a costume shop.
7. Or being a costume designer for a theater troupe. Anything dealing with clothing, really.

3. Once, when he was young (maybe two or three years old), Fowler's parents took him to visit the Royal Library. He promptly wandered off and was 'lost' for seven hours. When his parents (and the guards, and a number of servants) finally found him, he was seated at a table, leaning over botanical dictionaries, studying orchids.
