Scuro and her sister arrived a little late to the arranged meeting. They would have been later if Chiaro hadn't intervened. Scuro wanted to leave an I'm-in-charge impression, while her sister insisted a good impression was necessary. Although, it did admittedly take them some time to clean up after all that mess that morning.

As they entered, Scuro glanced around for the girl who had come calling those days preceding.

Alstair sat at a table towards the back his face calm even though he had left more than a dozen people dead and far more injured earlier today. a small bowl of soup sat half emptied before him.

"Madams Viverti." He said just loud enough to be heard. "Over here."

Scuro looked, eyes looking for the face that matched the voice... and her face darkened when they did.

"YOU!"

She had vented to her sister earlier that day, and Chiaro perceived her sister's anger. She gently placed a hand on her sister's arm, and it was the only thing that kept her from melting his face off.

"Yes. Me." Alstair said mildly."Now if you would madams please join me so that we may converse without annoying the other patrons."

Alstair smiled at Scuro and Chiarro. Bemused hardly described how he felt. He was tempted to laugh at her reaction.

"We would be delighted to join you," Chiaro said pleasantly, trying to be diplomatic. She sat gracefully, and Scuro followed her lead, though she did so without a word, glaring at Alstair. He had a horrendous smirk that she wanted to claw out of his head.

She didn't drink anymore, but she really wanted to just now.

Alstair nodded to each in a respectful manner before taking a spoonful soup.

"I assume you know why you are here." He said quietly as he blew upon the soup. "I am sad to say My dear Ilyia may not join us tonight..." As he finished speaking he stuck the spoon into his savoring the taste and with his devilish grin set it down.

"Also, madam Scuro. I was in total awareness when I attacked today. It is all part of the plan do not worry."

Scuro's lips pursed in irritation. "Yes, the plan. Hmph."

After seeing the mess that day, she wasn't sure she wanted anything to do with it. But the idea of power... of being rid of the pestilence of wicks and humans in their fair cities... That was what kept her in her seat. Well, that and her sister. She cast a glance over to Chiaro, communicating her feelings. Chiaro gave her a slight nod, "Mister Murdoh, was it?" Scuro had mentioned his name when raging to her sister that afternoon.

"I'm sure you'll understand if we are wary of the whole idea you have presented to us. While we accepted your invitation, as extended by your associate, I hope you will forgive us some trepidation. We would like to know more of the organization before getting further in than we can feasibly get out. I'm sure you'll understand," Chiaro spoke elegantly, ever the moderator between her sister's raging ambitions and the means to their ends.

Alstair nodded as he leaned back in his chair.

"Perfectly reasonable. I shall begin with this single statement.I intend to Turn the seventen into what it should be. A means to rid this Country of it's corruption and in the process rid us of Hanz Morde and several other key figures." Alstair said with such a placid and carefree manner on would think he was joking. "Now Of course, this is where that mess of a riot comes into play."

Alstair crossed his arms and looked at the twins bemused. He wanted to see if they could play along in his little game. Given time and patience he may be able to use Scuro as an unwitting tool for now though she was a force that he could only point one way or another.

Rid the Seventen of Hanz Morde? Preposterous... and yet... "And what are you planning to do with these figures gone?" Scuro's curiosity had gotten the better of her,"It sounds to me as if there will be a need for leaders. You can't topple a regime and hope things run smoothly thereafter. What then?"

Alstair smiled.

"And that is where you come into play my dear." He said quietly as he leaned forward and rested an elbow upon the table his chin being supported by that same arm.

"I need a new leader of the seventen." He said quietly. "I'm sure Ican trust you to do the math."

Scuro tried to keep her face a mask. Emotionless as she thought.

She wasn't entirely successful.

Her brows twitched slightly, and the corners of her mouth curved into a half-smile. "Mmm-hmm," she replied simply. She glanced at Chiaro. The two of them in power. Just as she had hoped and planned, but without all the red tape falderal. She picked up a glass of water that had been placed on the table for her. Sipping it demurely, she looked at her sister, silently communicating her thoughts. They sat in silence for what would have been a socially awkward period, but for them was normal.

Finally Scuro looked back. "Very well. You have our undivided attention."

Alstair smiled.

"Good." He said quietly. "This riot served a purpose dear madams. I intend to tarnish that fool Hanz Morde by making him seem sadly ineffective and senile. You my dear shall be the catalyst. Go behind his back seed doubt to his ability. Use that to make one of us seem better able to handle the job." he said quietly his voice quick and clear. "Do not think he is a fool though. Treat him like a wild chrove a dangerous beast that must be respected before it can be killed."

Scuro's mind was working- all the gears turning overtime. A Seventen social party at the estate where certain ears could be bent... a comment here and there on shift... Faith was so easy to break under the right circumstances.

She sat back, much more relaxed, now that she saw where these plans of Alstair's were headed.

"That shouldn't be too hard. And don't worry, I'm no fool to go flapping my tongue where it oughtn't," she glanced over at Chiaro,"She's the diplomatic one, anyway. You want word spread without a trail, she's it."

Chiaro looked at her lap momentarily, a half smile graced her lips. It was not nearly so unnerving as when Scuro did it, despite the fact that it was the same face in the same expression. "I won't say that I am not capable in this field. I will admit, however, that this is a difficult task. As you say, Mister Morde is not a man with which to be trifled. There is no telling who may or may not be an informant to him." She locked eyes with Alstair,"Is there? It's a dangerous task that you ask of us, Mister Murdoh. While promises are all well and good, what can be said for our present efforts? What guarantee have we that at the first sign of trouble we won't be thrown to the chroven?"

Alstair smiled Chiaro. He was wary of both the twins but, unlike Scuro she seemed able to strike with precision and skill. The scapel to the club it would seem.

"Though I have nothing material to give you madams." He said slowly as he shifted so that he could pull a knife from his pocket. "I can give you this."

Pressing the blade upon his right hand. He clapsed it tight and sliced at the skin. Blood oozed between knuckles and dripped upon the table. "You madams have my blood to take as trust."

How dramatic, Scuro thought, raising a brow. But deliberate and sincere.

"Very well then, Murdoh. Consider us allies."

With a cool smile Alstair extended the bloodied hand.

"I take it we have a deal madams?" He asked quietly locking eyes with Scuro. Grey lights danced about them with malicious glee. THe riot had left him feeling alive and vibrant.

Scuro looked skeptically at the hand for a moment, then took it with a firm shake. The blood sealed their apparent pact. Chiaro shook his hand more lightly, but without hesitation.

The deal was done. They had agreed. The pact was signed and sealed. His blood was now on their hands.
