 Regintrude Prunaprismia Chadot
'''Name:''' Regintrude Prunaprismia Chadot '''Age:''' 50 '''Race:''' Galdor '''Place of Origin:''' Peregrin, Brunnhold
!!!Backstory Not many people can boast of being born into the lap of luxury. Still less can boast of being so incredibly pampered and doted upon that they know of no other such life. This has been (and is) the life of the Lady Regintrude Chadot of Brunnhold.
She was the only child of the Lord Mackalwane Dugette (a retired professor of the college) and Lady Theogilde, both upstanding citizens and of high social standing. Every whim and wish Regintrude had as a child was granted with great affection, and she lacked nothing in those golden years. Those years shaped her into what she would later become: a refined lady with icy linings.
Upon growing of age for attending the university, Regintrude passed the tests with flying colors, though she didn’t care as much for the sorcery arts as she did for the aspect of academic learning, specifically in the arts of becoming a well-known lady of society.
And indeed, she did. She grew into a graceful, charming, sophisticated creature (as galdori go) who attracted quite a few young men eager to have her hand (if not her fortune). But Regintrude broke every heart she took hold of with her lofty airs and hidden laughter, except for one, and his was the heart she cherished. His name was Alexander St. Jude Chadot, and he was the man of her dreams. He was the only person (besides her own self) that she ever truly and deeply loved, and would do anything for (though she’d never show it).
The Dugette and Chadot families were united upon their children’s marriage, and the new couple lived a contented, insanely-wealthy life for many years. Through much effort and hard work, Alexander became the official royal court announcer (a seemingly boring job, but one with very profitable results), and Regintrude worked her way up through the ranks of the local socialites. They were unable to have children, but as such, Regintrude did not mind – she was never too partial to such small persons.
Sadly, the happy life of marriage was cut short for Regintrude when her beloved husband died of consumption before reaching the age of forty-five. The leading socialite did mourn her loss deeply, but she made sure to show it well. There was a great outpouring of sympathy for the new widow, and her popularity grew because of it. The lady Chadot took advantage of all this, and went so far as to publicly vow (for greater effect on such a romantic tragedy) to never marry again.
Now, Regintrude Chadot is fifty years of age, in the prime of her life, as well as in the social aspect. Her wealth leaves her in no want whatsoever, and her status as widow has made her a subject of adoration amongst the youth caught up in books on tragic romance. She has many well-known friends, as well as a few such enemies, but such is the life of a socialite. Though it is all the life she has even known and ever hoped for, the Lady Chadot is feeling a trifle…restless. She has always adored books of secret loves and flirtatious scandals, and she secretly wonders what it would be like to try something so daring. But her love and life of luxury and social standing are as yet too strong to deter her to a life of such shocking decisions.
!!!Personality Regintrude is a lofty sort, head held high and eyes half closed. Some might readily call her a snob and other such terms, but only behind her back. You do not make friends with the Lady Chadot – she makes friends with you. She is very conscious of the fact whether a person has or does not have social standing; she will know if you do not, and if this is so, she won’t give you the time of day. She is also blunt, having learned that this is an excellent way of giving advice, as well as taking a rival down a peg or two. Her wit is of a crisp and sharp nature, and she has the years to prove it. When you are her friend, she treats you as one would a young person – with patronizing affection; if you are her enemy, she treats you with scorn and contempt, all with a calm, iceberg tone and attitude. If a person would ever dare insult her, they would get a glare that can only be described as “lethal”: the chin tilted up, the eyes wide and piercing, the nostrils flared, the lip arched at one end. When you see that look, you close your mouth, bow, and run like the wind.
And no one but her closest friends ever calls her "Reggie."
!!!Physical Description The Lady is average height and of a willowy, graceful build; her walk gives others the impression that she’s floating across the ground. Her hair, once a lush black mane, is now wonderfully shot with gray and white bands, and is always pulled up in some fashionable style that is frequently copied by her loyal following of socialites. Never lacking funds, Regintrude was always able to purchase products that kept her looking healthy and youthful; they’ve paid off now, for despite her age, she has few lines in her smooth face.
Her eyes are an autumn gold color, and one of her best features. She leans towards a natural look in makeup, and it brings out the beauty of her youth. Her high brows and forehead speak plainly of her important breeding, and she is more than capable of looking down her nose at anyone or anything.
!!!Inventory

Misc.: *a polished walking stick of hard mahogany wood, with a curved handle and capped tip made of solid silver. The tip is covered in a small layer of kluiw hide to muffle the loud tapping sound the cane makes when struck against the floor *a small purse with a gold chain that carries an assortment of personal affects: a bit of makeup, a mirror, a small vial of perfume, and other such womanly things *a beautifully-made whice feather fan with a black pearl chain to wrap around the wrist *gloves that match the current attire
!!!Career *Socialite – she is one of the top of her class, and will deftly remind anyone who may have the indecency to forget it.
