"Oes, definitely! Today is a party, we can talk about the other stuff another day!" Calli said, sparkling.

She was wearing glitter.

Giana saw Taegan near Tristaan, and went over, smiling.
"Hesta! I saw you just now with Dorian and Calli. Are you guys better?"

Dorian breathed in obvious relief, hugging her again. He looked down and made a little sigh.

"Glitter. Ha. Of course. You know this stuff is like a disease, it spreads. And it hangs around for ages. I bet, a month from now, I find a speck of glitter behind my ear or something." He chucked and spun her round suddenly, before pulling her close to him again.

"Your all sparkly. The sun keeps leaping off you, like snow. Or diamonds."

Taegan turned from Tristaan and grinned, suddenly pulling Giana into a happy hug around the shoulders.

"I think so. At least we're talking again. And they are getting married! How awesome is that!? Ahh...what a great morning." Looking at Tristaan, arm still around Giana, Taegan nodded.

"Have you met Tristaan before? He's our resident 'fix-every-thing-and-everyone' guy. His wife or something is around here somewhere, tall witch with black and red hair. Honestly cant miss her, when you see her." He seemed like a weight had been lifted, grinning infectiously, as though he was the one who'd just gotten engaged. Obviously the need for Dorian's friendship had been important to the boy. The tamers blue eyes looked down at Giana and he winked.

"How's Charlie going? I reckon he's gonna like that kint." Taegan referred to the kint he'd managed to salvage off one of the Black Hands. It was decrepit and the black paint was almost gone, but it would work well to be converted into a hold for the growing spinewolf.

"Oof! That's great! I'm happy for you, Tae. I knowwwww. I hope I get married eventually. It sounds amazing." She snuggled into his arm a little. "And yeah, I've met Tris briefly. Nice to see you again! You organized all this, right?" She smiled, waved with her outside arm at him. "I know Sarinah from when I met Calli. And I borrowed a top from her...well, for...you know who. Didn't quite get it, of course. Men. Charlie's good! You'll have to help me repaint that kint before it starts raining, Taegan. You get to reach the high spots so I don't kill myself falling off a ladder."

Tristaan wasn't sure whether it mattered if he corrected Taegan or not; part of him really, really didn't want to. He offered a sheepish grin instead, one hand reaching to absently pretend there was something he needed to fix with his tied-back hair (he didn't). The passive sort of half-faked a laugh, half chuckled for real out of a strange sense of awkwardness,

"Oes, Giana an' I have met. O'er breakfast, if I remember right." He smiled, not quite as shy as he'd been a few moments ago, shrugging off the slightly warm feeling the chrove tamer's assumption had left in his chest. It was just going to be one of those days, "Hesta, anyway, though. It's benny t'see there'll be new faces in th'Circus, eh?"

Taegan squeezed the girls shoulders.

"Ha! We can go do that this afternoon if you want, shorty." Grinning, a dimple in one cheek, he nodded to Tristaan.

"New faces in the circus, clocking hell man, some of them..well...lets just say I had an altercation." He made a snort and his grin faded slightly.

"Another one. But whatever. Giana's tops and Warwick is...well something I guess? I dunno. He's in the acting parts, Gi here helps me with Clarabelle, Caz and Charlie. Oooh, speaking of Caz!" The blonde let go of Giana and fished around on the inside of his vest. Out of a large inner pocket, he pulled a white fluffy kitten, who lifted her blue eyes and chirruped sleepily.

"I wanted to bring her for a while. Figured she should spend a little less time in the kint with that smelly chrove. Isn't that right Cazzy?" He stroked the kittens chin. She narrowed her eyes and purred, pushing against his finger. Placing the tiny white osta on his shoulder, he returned his arm comfortably around Giana.

"So! Food! Lets do it right!? I am totally starving..oooh is that bacon!?"

"Mhmm!" She felt more comfortable putting her arm around him as well, now that he'd been doing the same for quite awhile. "Aww! You had her in there the entire time? You're amazing at hiding ostas. Should market that talent."

"And ahh, stop showin' me off. 'S weird. Oes, food! Is it ready yet, Tris?"

"Food's been ready," laughed Tristaan, waving a calloused hand in the direction of the fire and a few younger, eager Crow faces who were happy to serve their various creations of eggs, bacon, fresh flatbread, and some Surwood fruits and vegetables.

"I'll even let you two go before me." The passive grinned at Taegan, perhaps with a hint of teasing. He moved on fast, didn't he? He eyed the food as he let them ahead, considering whether or not he was hungry and deciding what exactly he should be bringing back for Sarinah, besides a bit of honest conversation.

"So, Gi, I take't you're helpin' with th'animal trainin' then?"

"Mhmm! I've been helping Tae get the new ones raised, and getting used to Miz Clarabelle. I think she likes me now. At least, I hope she likes me now. I wouldn't want to be feeding her some day and suddenly lose an arm, hmm?"

She beamed. She absolutely loved working with the animals, and it showed. She'd drawn Charlie and Caz, both of them, on little scraps of colored paper. They sat still when they were asleep, but that was about it. She hadn't drawn Clarabelle quite yet. Didn't have a piece of paper big enough, or the right color. She wanted to draw Clara's sleek black form with lots of purple highlights, and she needed yellow for that.

And Taegan...oh, there were pictures of him littering her journal, right next to the Warwick ones from a little while ago. She'd have to add pictures of all her friends soon.

"And ooh, food? Let's go, Tae, I'm starving. I worked through dinner last night to finish up some things. Plus messing around with you and Clara."

Last night, they'd given her a bath, and gotten covered in suds themselves. It was amazing fun, of course. Everything at this festival had been amazing fun, and she'd be sincerely sorry to see it go.

Taegan laughed again, shaking his head.

"She likes ya Gi, I promise. If she didn't, you wouldn't still be here." He made a face.

"I mean, as in, you would have run away. Not..she would have eaten you..I..yeh." The blonde grinned stupidly.



The boy waggled his eyebrows, his arm slipping from around her shoulders to sit around her waist. Looking up at Tristaan, he winked.

"Yeah, that didn't sound half cheeky now did it. I'll catch you later Tristaan, I got a lady friend to feed." With that, he guided the girl away, heading towards the warm and delicious breakfast birthday spread, grinning all the while.

"Agh! Tae, stop reading things I say that way! It's annoying, you!" She gave him a playful smack with her free arm.
She looked at the spread hungrily. Unable to decide, she put a little of everything on her plate.
