!!!Backstory:
His parent both taught magic at Brunnhold. There where always high hopes for him. He was always impatient to be taught. His father chastised him almost daily about the dangers of children trying to learn magic. Simon did not often listen. One day when he was nine he snuck in and eavesdropped on his father helping a student. He went back to his room and when his parents where asleep he tried to cast the spell. He was young and had no idea what he was doing.

A fire started. He tried his best to put it out. He did not yell he was scared to get in trouble. The smoke rose up into his parent’s room. As he fought the fire it lapped at his face. The flames gently wiped over his skin. They clung as he yelped and fell back. He held his face as his skin burned. The fire became too much. It raged out of control he yelled and ran. He yelled for his mother and father as he dashed from the blaze.

He watched as the house went up waiting for his parents to come out. They never did. He hid in the garden. He watched as the house went up. He watched as people came to try and put it out. He watched as they got the fire under control. He watched as they sifted threw the black charred remains of the house. He watched and he knew he had killed his parents.

His heart felt like it was breaking. He would have given anything for his father to beat him again. To yell scream and hit him like he did when he was bad. He thought of himself as a murderer. He did not know what to do or where to go. He got up and started walking. He remembered some one talking of a place full of murderers and thieves. Some place called the Old Rose by the sea. So he walked down the road.

Along the way some Wicks gave him food. He was dirty he looked like a beggar. They assumed he was a passive. His field was so weak due to his age. He did not correct them. When they offered to take him along he simply thanked them for the meal and kept walking. Since he would never know magic he might as well be. He stayed as a beggar in Old Rose for 3 years. He is there still. He believes this to be what he deserves. He thought he would be killed but no. Not worth it to kill a kid who has nothing.

He took on the name Remy as every one thought Simon Trent died in a fire. As he grew he began to notice others with magic. He could sense the fields around him. He avoided them when ever he could. Old Rose was mostly human and wick so he rarely had problems. He begged for food. He cried in the night. He slept outside. He wished for death. He was too afraid to do it himself. So he gently touched his scared face and waited. Though with each day his field grew remarkably stronger.

!!!Personality:

He can be quite cute at times. He does not like to show people how sad he is. He finds that being cute gets him more food. He does not like attention and tries to keep from getting to know people. He really does hate himself though you would not know it. He will do most any horrific thing he is asked but will not accept more then food. If some one gives him monies he will give it away to another beggar. He seems terrified of the Galdor.

!!!Description: His clothing is made more of strips of cloth wrapped around him and sown together. He is dirty and his hair is a mess. He only baths in sea water. He smells of salt and dirt. He has a large burn scar on the left side of his face. The hair that was burned off has grown back in white. The rest of his hair is black. The white hair comes down over his scar. He try’s to use it to hide the burn mark. He looks like he is about to starve to death. He is about average height for his age. His eyes are such a dark brown one would call them black.

Die in a way he feels fits his crime. Live a hard life until then.

Hi Remy, this is a very sad story! A galdor who has never used magic would indeed have a very faint field; most would mistake him for a wick.
