!!!Backstory: Born to a family of prominent magical lineage, Alstair was considered an aberration by his peers. He had no love for magic and was interested more in warfare and battle than in creating spells. When other students were busy learning new magical techniques he was training in the arts of the sword and combat. His family appalled shunned him and disowned him.
After graduation Alstair promptly joined the seventen and began to work his way through training academy. A terror in a fight Alstair became known amongst his peers as the Black Dragoon. His skill in mounted combat had made him famous and though still only an initiate many believe that as a field officer Alstair could show remarkable potential. Sadly, this may be a double-edged sword. Alstair is ambitious and willing to go to great lengths to gain power. Reports have hinted that at several points Alstair has betrayed his own men or killed innocents without remorse.
At this time Alstair has come back from a foreign stint abroad as a traveling soldier. He has developed a harsh sense of justice and is brutal in enforcing punishment.

!!!Personality: To his allies Alstair is a gracious and respectful ally. To his enemies he is a frightening foe that wields both sword and magic astride a terrifying mount. In reality Alstair like all Galdor is after power. He is slowly setting plans into play that will hopefully culminate in him claiming control of sizable portion of the seventen and lay claim to a city of his own through both force and subterfuge.
In battle Alstair seemingly comes alive. He laughs and becomes talkative in a battle. Making jokes as he slaughters foes. Outside of the battle he will act as expected of him and rarely step outside the bounds of society that expects of him.


!!!Physical Description: For his kind Alstair is markedly athletic from years of training. His hair is close cut as is proper of him and his stormy gray eyes serve as shields against those who would try to understand his thoughts. Alstair is rarely seen without a weapon normally a longsword or if he is in the field a spear. Of average height and weight he does not stares more than any other member of the Seventen would and though his features are sharp it is his actions that leave an impression upon those he meets.

!!!Inventory: Chroven mount, Backpack with flint, steel, Bedroll, Whet stone, Trail rations and fifty feet of rope. Traveling cloak and well made hide boots and a specially tailored mask that hides the upper portion of his face by making it look like it is covered in black scales.

Weapons:
*Longsword
*Short spear that is used in combat while on his Chroven
*Dagger in case he is disarmed

Stuff:
* Forty shills and one concord on his person.
* Leather Armor

!!!Goals Alstair is slowly working on the Seventen from the inside trying to gain control over the substantial forces so he may attempt to gain control of the country through force or subterfuge.

Hi Alstair! A couple things -

1. I need to change your username to your character's actual name (Alstair Murdoh), and then I'll put your title as "The Black Dragoon". I'll change it after you've edited your character sheet.
2. If you start as a Seventen, you have to begin the game as an initiate. Would you mind rewriting your bio to reflect that? (There is a training corps for the Seventen, perhaps he could have established his reputation there?) There is also a standing army in Vienda, so if you need to fill up some time, you could say he was away on foreign deployment or something. (There aren't any wars going on between kingdoms right now.)
3. If he works as a double agent for the resistance, you need to say something about that in your bio section.

hey man, your in the right area to meet Dom, he is a retired (but still thinks he's working) Seventen. the person who plays him is away at the moment, but he'll be around soon enough.

Good day Mr. Murdoh! Shall we say Dom is out for a midday jog so that they may cross paths? He won't look much like a member of the seventen, but he's a galdori who seems to be mixing exercise with cheerful interrogation of the locals, so it would make sense for Alstair to approach him. I'll let you reply to Aussiemum in your thread first, then i'll post once you're outside of the inn.
