Backstory:
Rand was abandoned to the Black Hand at a young age. He has no knowledge of who his parents were and cares very little anyway. Rand is a firm believer in moving forward and never looking back. He stayed with the Black Hand for most of his childhood though he knew they would never accept what he was. There was a coldness in him that he couldn’t pinpoint but it kept him from such emotions like pity and empathy. Brogan was a killer and even a heavy handed tribe like the Black Hand would not allow a murderer among them. At sixteen he left the nomadic people who’d been his family, though their aptitude for violence to solve problems went with him.

He took to pickpocketing and mugging in Vienda for a number of years until he found his niche as a highwaymen. Brogan stalked the road between Vienda and Old Rose with whatever gang he could muster. He felt more connected to these bands of cut throats then he ever had in his life.

Once the body count started to rise, the galdori law enforcement began cracking down on his little gang. Brogan knew it was time to move on, now 25 he was fairly experienced in all things illegal. The next logical step in his mind was to join the most influential gang there is…the Bad Brothers of Old Rose Harbor.

Personality:
Brogan is clever, more sinisterly clever than one of his character should be. His mind is a mess of plots and schemes and an underlying cruelty to it all. He is not a pleasant individual to be around for any extended length of time.

His one redeeming quality if there could be one is his loyalty. If dedicated to a group or individual he will see that commitment through to its end, whatever that may be. Though he left the Black Hand, he’ll still defend their name with the famed aggression of the tribe.

A peculiar quirk has earned him the nickname “Muck”. Brogan is a hypochondriac, when not focused on a task or scheme he’s tormented by “brain clouds” and “lung mites”. Those that camped with him in the wilds would be kept awake by fierce coughing fits or maniacal screams or whimpering. To this they would say, “Ole Brogan’s got the muck again.”, and laughter ensued. His diseases and ailments are completely imaginary and usually appear when Rand is uncomfortable or in possession of too much free time. This is one of the reasons for his perceived frantic work ethic and the obsessive cleaning of his pistols, it keeps the skin worms away.

Description:
Brogan is lean and strong, his muscles wiry from life in the wild surrounding Vienda. His entire right arm has skull tattoos depicting those he’s killed. A large black hand is tattooed on his chest. His hair is a short, red, braided Mohawk, meant to add to his fierce look to his victims. Multitudes of scars paint a picture of his tough life.
During his days as a highwayman, Rand began his love affair with firearms. He collects all of the “shootas” he can get his nimble fingers on. They are his one true passion and he has several on his person at all times.

Muck wears a deep red sleeveless shirt and thick vest made from a hodgepodge of animal skins. Both he keeps open at the chest displaying his hand tattoo. Around his wrists he wears thick, black leather bracers. His pants are faded blue and black stripes that resemble those worn by pirates, large and billowy. The boots he wears are durable cloth, made for treading quietly. Large leather belts crisscross his whole person, a long straight silver knife is sheathed at his hip.
