!!!Backstory:
Madame Mulm's is a success story, to be true. She began life as a nugget of unwanted flesh. Her parents, two amorous human youngsters who could barely afford to feed themselves, were quick to be rid of her, and little Mulm passed from unwilling hand to unwilling hand until she was old enough to fend for herself. It was her misfortune to be born in Muffey, a town where the plight of the destitute was outshone and ignored by the glamor of its abundant wealth. She spent her childhood as an urchin on the streets, begging for scraps, stealing what mercy didn't provide, and generally fighting for her life on a daily basis.

The fashionable galdori, the streets lined with shops full of glittering robes and fanciful hats, and the constant influx of spoiled tourists with their pockets overflowing made Mulm, who had nothing and expected to always have nothing, hunger for more than the meager life of survival she led. It scalded her heart to know that, in Muffey, even humans could become successful if they plied the right skill. Mulm understood that potential deeply, but felt helpless to rise to it. Finally, after nearly two decades of desperation, her opportunity came in the form of an elderly passive by the name of Radamus Smythe, who happened to observe certain grown-up charms beneath Mulm's beggar rags.

Radamus, as he prefered to be called, was a pimp. Born in Brunhold, he had escaped typical passive enslavery thanks to his unusually caring parents vouching for him, and eventually made his way to the blossoming town of Muffey. Radamus, having spent the first ten years of his life in a wealthy galdori household, had a taste for fine things and learning that was not dampened by the relatively few years of turbulence his failed initiation test had garnered; and by the time he found himself in Muffey he was determined to seek his fortune there regardless of social status -- just like so many in Muffey already had, and were currently doing. For Radamus, it turned out his fortune lay in prostitution, for which there was a booming "need" in the tourist town. He set up shop in an establishment he called The Tarnished Spoon in one of the human neighborhoods, and thanks to poor girls like Mulm, soon had a shop full of willing flesh.

By the time Radamus discovered Mulm he was well into his sixties and quite the wealthy gentleman. Mulm, like so many desperate women before her, jumped at the chance to escape the streets. She drank in the luxury of her own bed, of hot food, and baths. But these simple comforts were nothing compared to Radamus' library, the crowning achievement of his decades dealing carnal pleasures. With his galdori-instilled love of learning, he made it his priority to teach all of his wards their letters, and Mulm was one of his most voarcious pupils. She decided early on that she would never lead a life of wanting again, and knew that knowledge was the best protection against destitution. Radamus' library built her intellect and honed the attributes she had gained on the streets: cunning,a certain perceptiveness of those around her, and a resilience that could not be broken.

This knowledge, helped along by a rather fetching physique, helped Mulm quickly become a rising star at the Tarnished Spoon. She didn't mind the trade, but instead felt empowered by the sway her body held over silly men with money to burn. So she took their money, plied her skill, and within a decade was Radamus' heir-apparent to the business and all its fortunes. She became ruthless, and with her superior intellect quelled any challenge to her power from the other whores. The year of her 50th birthday, Madame Mulm lost her rescuer, exploiter, business-partner and friend, Radamus, and Mulm seamlessly assumed control of the Tarnished Spoon.

Barely a fortnight had passed since his death before the galdori troublemakers came. The galdori had generally avoided the Tarnished Spoon, instead allowing it and its passive owner to operate unabated thanks to the steady flow of cash it filtered into the Muffey economy. Radamus had been a harmless fool, content to fill his coffers and enjoy the life of luxury – Mulm, however, was know for her radical ideas about human rights, and enjoyed a long history of philanthropy in favor of the oppressed. Her belief that everyone should have not only the basic needs of life, but also the opportunity to advance themselves, was in direct opposition of the galdori directive, and disgruntled galdori citizens quickly rallied against the success of such a controversially run business establishment.

Unfortunately for wily Mulm, every one of her whores in arms abandoned the Spoon before their Madame’s attitude could attract more serious attention from the Seventen. Without flesh to sell, the business stuttered to a close and Madame Mulm’s way of life became threatened – something she would not allow to continue. So on her 51st birthday, Madame Mulm hired a wick caravan, stowed what treasures Radamus had left her, and quit fabulous Muffey in favor of another town, where she might set up a shop with its own distinctive anti-galdori flavor….

!!!Personality:
Mme. Mulm is a wily spirit. She is cunning, but also wise with her years and experience. She is a crack businesswoman, and can be ruthless when the situation calls for it, and she is ruled by a strong sense of right and wrong. Her rights and wrongs may not always correspond with the general population and especially not with galdori values, but that is neither here nor there. She is accustomed to living in luxury, and will fight tooth and nail to maintain that lifestyle. She doesn’t have a gentle bone in her body, but she will help those in need and encourage others to help themselves. She is particularly enamored of the resistance, feeling that no person of any race should have to live a life of want. If she had her way, the galdori would be overthrown, their finery dispersed, and their coffers emptied so that the oppressed and impoverished under their rule might have a taste of the good life.

!!!Physical Description:
Mulm’s an older lady with a taste for fat hingle shanks and chocolate, and her medium frame has grown somewhat rounder in her later years. Her hair, once dark brown, is streaked with grey and her face is lined with years. None of these things, however, diminish her aura of seduction, which she has cultivated over the years for its usefulness, as she has cultivated her excellent taste in fashion. [Height: around 5’5’’; Weight: around 160 lbs; Eyes: grey, Hair: dark brown, streaked silver, held back by a leather headband in a poofy style; Skintone: lightish olive; Clothing: dress or skirt of some kind, fashionable accessories; Makeup: dark and sexy.]

Mme. Mulm plans to use her skills and business to aid the human resistance in any way necessary. Ideally, she would like to use the business as a way to raise funds for freedom fighters and their families, as well as the building itself as a safehouse for resistance members to hide out or hold meetings.
