!!!Backstory:

Demkaih was born in Knowles. His mother, a strong but sad woman. He helped her work in her meager corn plantation, listening to the rumors about his father, a Mugrobi man who died from fever shortly after he and his mother had wed. When Demkaih turned eight his mother finally gave up. Overwhelmed by poverty and grief, she became withdrawn and shut herself inside. Demkaih tried to keep the plantation, but finally it withered without her help and died. Angry and alone, Demkaih packed his belongings and made the harsh trek across the desert to find his fathers people, but he was too young and too inexperienced. He passed out in the blazing heat, thirst parching his very bones it seemed. By sheer luck a trade caravan found him and took him back to Thul Ka. The amazing trade city was nothing like the boy had ever seen. He reveled in the sights. After some inquiries, his rescuers found his father's sister, who took in the boy as her own and raised him alongside her own son. Demkaih learned how to grow, harvest and prepare the rich spices the city was so well known for. The poverty he was born into suddenly became a thing of the past. Not quite wealthy, but not exactly poor, Demkaih was happy.

After many years of working the spice harvests, Demkaih has decided he wants to see Anaxas, and so at the ripe old age of 28 the boy - now a man - has caught the trade ferry from Muluku Islands to Old Rose Harbor.

!!!Description:

Demkaih is 6"4. He is visibly strong, his muscles hardened from year of labouring in the harvests, but he is not bulky. His skin is brown, chocolate coloured, but not quite as dark as his fellow mugrobi. His head is shaved clean. He has the tattoo's of his families clan on his head behind his left ear. He has pristine white teeth and incredibly blue eyes, like the sky on a perfect summer day.

He wears a red silk robe, tied at one shoulder and wrapped around the waist and thighs. It is heavily beaded around the waist and legs area. His body is adorned with jewelry. Necklaces, bracelets, anklets and rings. His ears are pierced with lugs and his nose has a small silver stud in the right side. He walks barefoot and straight, very proud of his murgrobi heritage, he is also a highly able swimmer. He is very skilled with the mugrobi dual daggers and they hang from a belt on his waist. He can also use spears/staffs (stave's?) with precision. Best idea, don't get him mad around a broom handle...not many people can boast they were bested with a cleaning utensil.

!!!Personality:

Although he seems to be unapproachable and serious, once you get to talking with Demkaih, he is quite friendly and likes to joke..although getting a laugh out of him requires quite a lot of alcohol. His face doesn't often show his emotions, so if your making him angry, you probably wont know till he has cut your throat.

His upbringing in mugrobi means he doesn't see galdori as a superior race. instead he views them mostly with the respect of an equal. he is not frightened of magic and believes that death with honor is a fine thing, knowing he will be greeted on the Great Ocean by Hulali to join him on the waves.

!!!Goals:

Demkaih originally came to Anaxas for a change of scenery. But viewing the township, he is seriously thinking about starting a spice house of his own...perhaps throwing in some other mugrobi trade items for good measure. He loves his home, but the opportunity for expansion is hard to resist.

Great character and concept, Demkaih! I'm happy to have another Mugrobi playing, right now my Mod PC Shira is the only one

I really like the bit about the Great Ocean. Hulali mythology is not really established yet, but that sounds legit enough to become canon.
