'''Name:''' Fowler Hotchkiss
'''Age:''' 12 and 3/4
'''Race:''' galdor
'''Place of Origin:''' born and raised in Bastia, later moved to Vienda
!!!Backstory:
Fowler was raised in a good galdori household, where strict manners were not only taught but heavily enforced. A common phrase said by his mother was 'Children are meant to be seen and not heard, especially if they sound like you.'
In a series of unfortunate biological events, Fowler developed a stutter when first learning to speak. It wasn't a terribly horrible thing; lesser families would have been able to ignore it. However, being the son of two prominent galdori intellectuals, The Stutter (as it was referred to by the family) was the stuff of nightmares. Fowler was told to speak as few words as possible, and hold himself in such a manner as to discourage conversation. To 'make up' for his lack of conversation skills, Fowler was taught to read and write at an early age, and was reading at a borderline adult level by his tenth birthday.
His parents decided a higher level of education was best for their son, but since that would mean speaking publicly, a school outside of Bastia was chosen. His extensive book knowledge of magic helped him to pass the entrance tests at Brunhold with flying colors (literally), and he was shipped off to school with little more than a wave and a pat on the head.
!!!Personality:
Fowler is quiet. Almost too quiet. While his vocabulary is quiet extensive for a child of his age, a conversation with Fowler would most likely consist of one and two word sentences. More than anything, he wishes he could speak his mind freely without the fear of ridicule from his peers, but the few times he ever said a full phrase ended in laughs for other children and tears for him. He has since decided that speaking with other galdor wasn't worth his time, or at least he likes to pretend so.
Instead of talking with his peers, Fowler prefers to spend his time indoors with a book, or tending to his terrarium. Plants are a not-so-secret love of his, as they do not laugh at you if your words come out a bit choppier than others'.
!!!Description:
Fowler stands out against his peers in that, besides from his stutter, he has a head full of shaggy, flaming orange hair, freckles all over his face and body, and eyes a brilliant shade of lime green. His face is round, and he has a little meat on his bones, but not more than any other child who hasn't fully shed his baby fat. Doctors project that in years to come he will be more built than his galdor comrades. As much as he cleans his hands, he cannot fully get rid of the dirt under his fingernails from digging and planting in his terrarium, so when he's not reading or writing he keeps his hands clasped behind his back. While he's still a growing child, he tends to keep abnormally good posture when around others; when alone, however, he will relax and seem almost as a normal child. Fowler rarely smiles, unless he is with his plants or reading.
His voice, when it is actually used, is somewhat melodic, a low tenor. While his normal speech pattern is quite stuttered, Fowler is able to speak perfectly normally when recitinging monite or reading out loud in iambic pentameter.

!!!Goals
Fowler wants more than anything to be known for something, especially pertaining to plants. His interests lay specifically with breeding and plant genetics. He would one day like to have a new species of flower named after him.
His years of ridicule from peers and, sadly, family have made him question why some galdori are better than others, which has also called into question why galdori are better than other species in general. While he may not say it, he secretly hopes the resistance will lead to him being able to speak to those around him without getting laughed at.
