She leaned in nosily as Xanadu showed Keiyra her scar. She pursed her lips, "I have a design that'd fit there nicely. An' have you ever considered a navel ring?"
Xanadu cocked her head to the side, considering Hamari's words. “You know, a naval ring wouldn't be a bad idea. I used to have one, but it closed up after ... the accident.” The haunted look passed across her face again, but only briefly.

"I can do that, ye chen? But, gotta warn ye. Tattoo's sometimes hold badly on new scars. I wouldn't usually get one till about 3 years after the scar has healed." Looking up at the older witch, she started fiddling with one of the tattoo needles, checking it for damage.
“I would still like to have one,” she replied. She wasn't vain and generally didn't care what people thought of her, but she was a bit self-conscious about the scar when she danced. Covering it up with a tattoo seemed to be the best solution. If it didn't hold, she could always have it redone later. Now that she had made up her mind, there was no turning back.
She listened as the two witches argued back and forth. Hamari's offer of Mugrobi designs did sound appealing, but she already knew exactly what she wanted. A custom design would certainly cost more, but the snake dancer was not really worried about that. She had plenty of money to spare.
“Could you design a snake for me?” She asked Keiyra. The smoke from Hamari's hookah drifted over her, and her empty stomach heaved. She would have to eat before she was tattooed. She certainly didn't want to pass out during the process. “A python ... in varying shades of yellow like Seferu. The color will stand out well on my dark skin.
And how much will it cost?”
