!!!Backstory:

Born to 52 year old Lord Margol Bruthgrave and his 27 year old wife Lady Carmell Mathen-Bruthgrave, Athrym was shipped off to Brunnhold as soon as possible. She was tested and recieved a score of 7.3, quite a feat considering the terrible scores her parents had. The child definitely had talent, yet she was teased to no end due to her platinum blonde hair and pale blue eyes. The constant pressure from her peers turned her into an angry cold teenager. No one should expect sympathy from this girl, she would sooner cast Pain on you then give you a hand.

Athrym holds a deep dark, painful secret. As a new comer to Brunnhold, she had gone out alone to the Stacks. No friends, and alone, she was caught by a human male. He was cruel and didn't care that she was a galdor. Forcing her, and torturing her late into the evening, he finally met his gruesome end when her fingers found a broken bottle and forced it into his throat. Helpless, alone and covered in blood, the blonde child made a pact with herself never ever to be a victim again. And wicks to her, are the same race with a few tricks up their sleeves. The idea that humans and wicks need to be controlled is something she strongly agrees with. They are nothing but thugs and magicians. Scum to scrape from the bottom of your boot. If it were up to her, she would wipe them from the land. Her parents servants feel the brunt of her anger every single day.

!!!Description:

Athyrm is the very embodiment of cold. She has blonde hair, so light its almost white, fine porcelain skin and blue eyes so pale some people have wondered if she is blind. Yet the pupil is normal and she can see perfectly. They are just clocking fools, Athyrm likes to think. She wears blue and white shadow, black fine liner on her eyes and a pinkish colour on her lips.

Her clothing is usually in blues and whites. When she wants to make a bolder statement, she will pull out a blood red gown her mother gave her as a present last birthday. Already stigmatized by her peers, she likes to shock people, and a lot of the time she wears the more exotic clothing designs of the Mugrobi galdori, paying a pretty penny for her wardrobe.

!!!Personality:

She is icy cold. No one has ever reached her enough to warm her hard little heart. She thinks her parents are slow witted fools and her mother is just a trophy on her father's arm. She thinks her teachers aren't teaching her enough and she is hungry for more magic. The lure is strong for her, addiction is a problem for her, although she would never agree. If she can cast a spell, she will.

She treats people with distain and is contantly putting people down. Sometimes she will tolerate others with a similar opinion of her, but she doesnt actually have friends.

!!!Goals:

Since her horrible abduction, Athrym wants to be the most powerful galdor in Anaxas. Something snapped inside her that dreadful day, and although she doesn't realize it, her hatred is really just a deep deep fear. She knows that magic can down a human in an instant. She imagines striking down masses of wicks and humans with the flick of a wrist. She hungers for power and worship, imagining those pathetic souls bending to her makes her blood race. It consumes her.

Interesting character! I get a very clear mental image. Just a few notes: you might want to write some more for your backstory. I know she is young, but some specific incidents from her childhood might help solidify the character. Maybe you could write about why, exactly, she hates humans and wicks so much? The actual fact that she hates them should probably be in the personality section. I get a pretty good picture of the character from that, but she's a little one-dimensional now. A little more backstory could help with that, too. Why exactly does she hunger for power? It is a response to the mocking she got for her unusual appearance or is it something a bit deeper?

did that come out better? i feel downright sorry for this character now. lol. i didn't want to spell out the atrocity that happened to her as a child, as it can be a sensitive thing and there might be younger people on the boards...but i hope i made it obvious.

That's certainly a big change! It's kept very discreet. I don't much feel sorry for her but I understand where she might get that personality trait now, so it makes much more sense. Pretty horrific stuff D:
