Transferring Posts Why is this forum read-only? We are currently transferring all active posts to the new forum. Come into chat or email me ( cartographette@gmail.com) if you have any questions. If you'd like to volunteer to help, we could use your assistance! Welcome to the Character Journals section! This is where you can create an IC journal for each of your PCs, and post your character's letters to other PCs and NPCs. This forum is In Character, so all OOC comments need to be in OOC format. Please only make one journal per character, and specify in your thread title or your first post if OOC comments are allowed. For letters to other PCs or NPCs, you can make a new thread (you don't have to post them in your journal). Reply letters should be posted in the same thread.

From the Mixed of Files of Ms. Annie November
Welcome to my journal/blog!
As a self-proclaimed public servant (journalism for the masses!), I have no problems with journal comments that are in character, or out. Feel free to say what you mean and mean what you say--heck, you can say it mean for all I care! Just say it!

Entry One: A Welcomed Return to (in)sanity.
Well, that was fun!
I just got back from the most lovely vacation, a three day trip into Muffey. Granted I had to enter through the side door of most of the places there (ah, the life of a wick), but once they found out I was a journalist, their attitudes changed. They changed even more when they found out I was there to report on how fine the town was and why people should come visit (that, of course, being a bold faced lie, but it got me better service!). I probably will write a piece or two, but it won't be about the Choclatier's shop, I promise you that! All I wanted was two sweet crackers with caramel on top, dipped in chocolate, and a few miniature pie-shaped chocolates filled with a creamy peanut nougat. That man has no imagination whatsoever!
No, what I'll be writing about is the protest that stormed through the streets, students with goatees and signs (and a few little red cook books) screaming about the mistreatment of inferior races. A number of anonymous sources said at least two members of the Chair were in town on vacations of their own, which led to the chanting mobs on the sidewalks. Another source told me the Seventen were called in to investigate who started the "unlawful" protests, but so far hadn't found anything on anybody. Apparently, Flashmobs happen in Anaxas too. Who'da thunk?
As of yet, none of the government officials are willing to comment on the protests, but an official statement is due out any day now. Translation: shut up and go away! Thhhhbt! (that's a rough translation, but it works for me).
While I'm on the subject, I've decided to learn more Tek. I know enough to ask basic questions like "Where are you from", "how old are you" and "where is the nearest bathroom", but I think it would really help me out in the long run if I knew more journalistic phrases, such as "can you point me in the direction of the nearest typewriter".
Now that I'm back at my desk, I'm being told it's time I start writing on and actual article. *sigh* So is the life for a gossip columnist, even one who doesn't pay attention to who wore what to wear.
Keep it real, kids!

Entry Two: A Life Changeing Experience
Well, the papers have hit the stands. My late-breaking news article is splashed all over the front page. I know Jonas will be proud of the pumped up circulation.
I'm actually surprised he let me run with it. It's way more controversial than the stuff he usually lets people write. I mean, it goes waaaaay beyond who's in whos bed.
I did get a chance to meet some new people in Vienda, though. I think I might have made a couple of friends, actually. It's weird...I get along fine with other people, but 3/4ths of the time I'm more focused on what my next big lead will be. This time...this time was different. I think I'm really honestly concerned for both of them.
Here's hoping nothing happens to Emme, and here's hoping Triar doesn't do anything stupid. And here's hoping nobody decides to give me the axe. Heh.
Maybe I should take another vacation...

Entry Three: Something Wicked This Way Comes
I'm a tad worried. It's been slow. Really slow. As in, I'm considering writing about whice mating seasons.
I hate it when it's this slow. It scares me a little. Slow times mean one of two things: life has become just that boring or there's a storm coming that's gonna knock us all of our feet. I'm guessing it's option two.
Posters have gone up all over town. The big galdori Clock's Eve ball is coming up, and being a member of the press I get to go. Snap a few pictures, make a few people happy and hopefully keep the wolves at bay long enough for all of us to survive. And maybe I'll be able to make it over to the other side of town and actually get my party on. Gods know I could use a bit of fun right now.
