!!!Backstory:

Ilithyia, born in the popular town of Muffey, should have been at the peak of fashion for her peers in Brunnhold. She had access to every latest fashion, neither of her parents wanting to deny their only girl anything she could want in earthly goods. Every holiday, Ilithyia received box upon box of hats, dresses, shoes and stockings. However, Ilithyia was not a leading light in her year. In fact, she was at the bottom of the social hierarchy. This was because, simply put, she looked funny. Too tall, Ilithyia was almost equal in height to many of her male professors at the age of fourteen. Where her fellow female students began to fill out about the hips and bust, Ilithyia merely grew up, never shedding the thick baby fat that still clotted her frame. Her auburn hair was long and thick, but no matter how pretty it was, it couldn't offset her other problems. Ilithyia was an ugly duckling, set in amongst the jewels of galdor society, and was reminded of her shortcomings throughout her formative years.

However, what seemed to be a pitiable child grew into a woman who needed none. Resigned to her fate as an undesirable but undeniably skilled magister, Ilithyia began to work harder in physical jobs, took up fencing and dancing, doing anything she could to make herself a more perfect candidate for the Seventen, her childhood heroes. With this jump into physical fitness, Ilithyia also blossomed. Finally shaping up around seventeen, Ilithyia's soft height transformed into the form of a Valkyrie, muscle expanding underneath the layers of fat but never fully consuming them. However, the changes came too late; Ilithyia was ugly in her own mind, and any compliment paid to her in her last years at Brunnhold was attacked as though it had been a taunt.

Jumping head first into the initiation of the Seventen, Ilithyia found herself to be more eager to complete physical labor than her companions, where her height served her well. She completed every section with excellence, and was summarily shunted off to the training area near Numbrey. Although still eager to serve her country, some of Ilithyia's admiration of the Seventen died in that camp. She had barely spent any time there when she was thrown out into the real world, with minimum training and self-image issues fueling every act. Now stationed in Vienda, in order to learn some from the older, more experienced members, Ilithyia is doing her best to keep up with her increasingly demanding job and learn all she can from her one-time heroes.

!!!Personality:

Bluntly, Ilithyia is self-conscious of everything she does. She is very afraid to be found wanting in skills, as she believes she has no looks or charm to carry her through. This being said, she is also one of the most driven members of the 'new' Seventen. She genuinely believes in their cause, and will do all she can to protect her defenseless but pretty peers from harm. Yet past this obsessive facade, lies a very calm, intelligent person who only want to be accepted by those she chooses as equals. Ilithyia has never been in any kind of relationship, and does not wish to remedy this. Her fear of rejection and disdain kept her from play acting intimacy in Brunnhold; now, she has no experience to build off of for adult companionship. All attempts to compliment her physical form end in deep, frustrating pain for her, and only by commenting on her skills and abilities will she even feel the slightest relaxation of her walls. Ilithyia also feels much more comfortable around people much older or more mature than those her own age. Dating back to school teasing, she finds it much easier to talk and respect those with more expirience and years.

!!!Physical Description:

Ilithyia of present day is a strong, handsome woman; she had the characteristic fineness of bones that one expects from a galdor. However, her prominent cheeks and full lips are more original to herself. Tall and curvy, Ilithyia grew into a moderate bust, a tiny waist and flared hips. These, paired with her muscle tone and height make her a very intimidation young woman. Her auburn hair falls straight down her back, and even in school she wore it braided and pinned into a neat bun at the back of her head. Unlike many of the galdori, she dislikes robes and dresses, preferring pants and tunics for ease of movement, and the small physical anonimity these can give. Ilithyia's big, sharp eyes are blue with hints of yellow that flare when she calls upon the mona and then fade.

!!!Goals

For a woman in the kill-or-be-killed profession like that of a Seventen Initiate, Ilithyia has relatively few goals; she wants to be accepted by her colleagues, to do her job with efficiency and grace, to someday settle down and have a family, and retire. Yet even theses she sees as unattainable, and secretly despairs at ever finding peace and fulfillment out of life.

Oh boy. There is quite a femme fatale building in the Seventen ...!
