Poe tightened his grip on the soft leather reins. As they got closer to the tents he gently stroked the soft jet black feathers of his Moa.
"You ready shadow..."
He looked up to the white Whice over head.
"Go ahead ghost."
As the bird darted off to fly over the camp Poe pulled out his guns. He looked them over again each needed to be loaded. He had cut the pointer and middle finger off each of his gloves. The two exposed fingers lightly stroked the pistols. He slid the guns back in their holsters as he got close to the camp. A bright smile on his face he held up his hand as he entered. Ghost flew down from over the top of the camp to land on his arm. With his trade mark smile he looked about.

Balder was writing in his notebook, hunched over, cigar in mouth, top hat on head, oblivious to most everything else. He had a lot to sort out. Acts, timing, music...it was big. Winslow sat beside him, chewing a piece of dried meat, watching Dorian and Taegan practicing a little juggling he'd been teaching them. Dorian was sure it would bring in the ladies, Taegan felt it would impress Calli.

Looking up, he saw a white whice fly overhead and followed its flight with his eyes, coming down to see a mugrobi man riding a black moa. He elbowed Balder.

"Look's like you got another one." He said softly. The short stout ringleader looked up at the man approaching and closed his notebook quietly, smiling.

"Good afternoon, can we help you?"

Poe smiled softly and hopped down from the bird. He tipped his hat lightly and bows.
"I will cut to the chase I am a trick shot. If I am not mistaken then Hal has told you about me."
He clicked his tongue and shadow sat down. Stepping closer he turned his head to await their reaction.

Balder made a face of recognition.

"Ah of course! Hal did mention you! Said you were a damn sight more impressive than he could express." Biting on the cigar, Balder eyed him for a moment.

"So, let's see what you can do Mister...er..?"

Poe tilted his hat down. He smirked and with a flick of his writs a gun popped into his hand.
"My name..."
He threw a small metal target into the air. Ghost griped it in his talons and flew up with it. He begged mona to spin the bullet. The same old hum started. Ghost flew much further then a pistol should shot.
"IS POE"
He squeezed off a shot.

Balder squinted up into the afternoon sun, watching the whice take the target higher and higher. A stirring came from Poe, the mona was responding and turning the bullet. It whizzed like a spinning top on super spin, Balder could hear it inside the barrel. Then with a loud bang the gunshot rang out. The bullet exploded from the gun in a burst of smoke and hit the target with a far off ting-kow!

Balder nodded approvingly, but he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck a little.

"Listen, that was mighty impressive, but can you do anything else with them things? Got to remember, we are inside a tent. I can't send the patrons all out to watch that, they won't come back in." Taegan and Dorian had paused their juggling to watch. The sword swallower bounced a pin in one hand.

"Could you like...do trick shots? I saw a fella do them once with a sling shot. Was pretty nifty."

Poe gave a sly grin. He looked to the feather on his hat. He watched the wind.
"I can hit 3 targets with one shot. I can make the bullets bend around corners. I can make bullets snake along the ground then shoot straight up. I can aim for one target and hit another. I can also make a bullet change direction mid flight."
He reloaded the pistol while he spoke. Ghost came to land close by.
"With most tricks I will use bottles. With the ricochet I need metal targets. The long shot I just did should show my skill at sharp shooting."
Poe stepped closer and tucked his gun back in his sleeve. He stopped in front of the man.

Balder nodded slowly, it was damn impressive, but he just couldn't see how it would be safe in the circus tent. He sighed and with a look at Dorian shook his head.

"Listen Poe, I like you, I really do. But a circus tent just aint a place for guns. I am sorry. Maybe..if you come back with something else?" He said hopefully. If the Seventen saw guns in the act he would be through!
