Transferring Posts Why is this forum read-only? We are currently transferring all active posts to the new forum. Come into chat or email me ( cartographette@gmail.com) if you have any questions. If you'd like to volunteer to help, we could use your assistance! Welcome to the Character Journals section! This is where you can create an IC journal for each of your PCs, and post your character's letters to other PCs and NPCs. This forum is In Character, so all OOC comments need to be in OOC format. Please only make one journal per character, and specify in your thread title or your first post if OOC comments are allowed. For letters to other PCs or NPCs, you can make a new thread (you don't have to post them in your journal). Reply letters should be posted in the same thread.

 Letter for Ms Tallulah Anatine
Quote: Dear Ms Anatine, I am writing to apologize for my conduct at your art show a few days ago. As my first foray into galdori culture in a long time it was, and I think you’ll agree with me on this, an unmitigated disaster. However, I must tell you that it was not my intention to embarrass you or cause you distress in any way. I do hope that the consequences of my actions were not negative for you in anyway.
I feel I must explain why I felt the need to take the course of action that I did, not out of anything malicious or as a childish prank which I fear is the way you would have taken it, but I have never been one for writing letters- I draw pictures to explain what I see far better than I can articulate with words which may explain why I felt it was so important for those pictures to be shown. I understand that I was privileged to view these works, but that from my perspective they should have been universal- not for a select few that you trusted to find them enchanting and important but also for those who may give criticism or disagree with our views, if only to challenge perceived viewpoints.
But I cannot claim myself to be a radical I suppose, I have not the cleverness or the stomach for that business and my affiliation to lower races I must say are not born purely out of a philanthropic heart- at best I behaved like a hypocrite at your art show. It was inexcusable and tactless of me.
I must thank you for the food too, but in future I would ask you not to do something like that again. As a matter of pride more than anything I would suppose. Perhaps I enjoy keeping my fiscal situation private in much the same way you like to keep your drawings private and therefore we ought to draw up a kind of truce, to agree that not a single person walking on Vita is perfect- some less so than others- and put this behind us.
Because, it is my belief we could be great friends. My offer of a trip to the dives still stands if you wish to take it, I noticed that your nude work is not as strong as some of the other pieces and I know of a place in the dives where obtaining life models will not be a problem. That is of course, if your feminine sensibilities would not be offended and I would hate to offend you even more than I have done so in the past.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
Yours sincerely, Campion Luccullis
