!!!Backstory:
As far as Zzan knows, he’s been a fugitive all his life. He was born to a galdor father and a human mother. Afraid of being ridiculed and attacked by his fellow galdor, his father fled them. With nowhere else to go, his mother took him and fled. They tried to live off the streets of Old Rose Harbor. With what money she could scavenge, whether it be stealing or selling small trinkets she made. His mother was caught stealing one day from the wrong people, Zzan always thought it was a group of thugs, and was never seen by him again. Zzan was 8 at the time and never saw her again.

Zzan is a rather odd boy to meet. He tends to be quiet, only speaking when spoken to. Often he can be heard muttering words to himself in Tek. Since he likes to live in solitude, he doesn’t talk to many people. Zzan's name comes from his real name. His real name was Zanzerdal. He shortened it after his mother disappeared because it reminded him to much about her.

Shortly after his mother was taken, Zzan met a new friend. He found a hingle in an alley way in Old Rose. Feeling sorry for the small creature, Zzan tried to take care of it. He gave it small pieces of food and protected it for being eaten itself, in return the hingle acts as Zzan’s partner. Since he lived on the streets, he made the most of his life stealing from others. The small hingle would distract targets as Zzan stole from them. He later used the money or whatever they found to get food. Zzan named the hingle Skrux, he wanted to make the name of the Hingle just as mysterious as his.

!!!Personality:
Zzan is very quiet and keeps to himself about almost everything. If you talk to him, he will most likely respond in a calm, quiet voice. Zzan hardly yells and will probably only yell if in trouble or in pain. Zzan has an odd attraction to animals and tends to blank out as he stares at ones he has never seen before. He also like to talk with them, thinking they can understand him. If Zzan doesn’t like someone, he will speak Tek just to annoy them. Although he has a small dagger on him, he will only use it to take pouches off people. Although he is a wick, he doesn’t belong to any of the tribes. Death, disappearing, and blood are Zzan’s fears. He’s always hated the sight of blood and dead bodies, and he has an odd paranoia of disappearing. He thinks that things around him are there to get him and then he could suddenly vanish. This may seem odd to most people, but to Zzan it could mean the difference between life and death. It would scare him if the food he had stored suddenly vanished. The odd paranoia occurred shortly after he realized his mother was never coming back.

!!!Physical Description:
Zzan is about 4’6’’ and has a scrawny body, slightly muscled. He has long black hair that flows to his shoulders and curls up, it makes him look slightly like a girl. He wears a raggedy pair of pants and shirt, holes found amongst the clothes. His eyes are a dark blue color.

!!!Goals

Zzan doesn’t have anywhere to go and wants to find somewhere he can belong, hopefully after scavenging around can he find it. He also would like to find friends that can accept him for who he is. Getting a job wouldn't be too bad either. If he could find work, or a place his talents could be used, he would be just as happy.

First, could you make your personality and physical description sections into paragraphs instead of lists?

Maybe Zanzerdal should be his real name instead of just a nick name. It's quite an impressive nick name.

I will have to tell you that to play an antisocial character with no goals at all is going to be very difficult to RP. If you are living in Vienda, your character would not have a writ of residence since you grew up on the streets, which means, after the new edict, you would essentially be a homeless fugitive who may possibly have already been kicked out of Vienda when they cleared it of wicks after the Riot.

I would suggest you put this into consideration and come up with some goals (i.e. finding a wick tribe to join, moving to a new town safely, finding work outside of Vienda, etc.) or else you may find yourself frustrated very early in-game.

If Zzan was eight years old when his mother left, he would definitely remember his real name. I think it would make more sense if Zanderzal was his real name and Zzan was his nickname. I did ask that you provide an explanation for the double Zs, since that's a really unusual name; would you mind doing that?



There are no wealthy galdori in Old Rose (it's a criminal port made of humans and wicks), so that might need a different explanation.

There's no need to capitalize hingle.

I agree with tif that you should have a few more goals for game play; you'll have difficulty finding RP partners and storylines if your character is both antisocial and unmotivated. It would be fairly easy to give this guy a motivation or two, like finding a home and making some real friends. I don't really feel like I know him from the personality section, so some extra information on his personality, likes/dislikes, fears, hopes etc would really help out in creating some goals.
