The small book is bound in dark mahogany leather, its edges worn smooth from frequent use. Inside, the paper is coarse but thin, allowing a great number of pages to fit; some are covered in designs and small sketches, while many others are filled with the handwriting of someone still in the learning process. There are quite a few spelling errors scratched out, but the penmanship is relatively neat otherwise.

I boght bought this jurnul journal during the Festival – I need to rite write in it instead of just drawing. So here I go.

The rain is falling now, and I am staying in my kint for now. That gives me time to theenk think. I luv love to travel, and I love the tryb tribe, but I want to do sum something else. I want to do more than just make joo jou pretty things and sell them and be a merchint merchant.

I want to try to be a smugler smuggler for the rezistence Resistance.

No one else nos knows about this. Not yet, any way. I do not know who to talk to about it, becuz because it mite might sound bad. I do not want to kill anyone, not even a galdori. I just want everyone to be happy and to stop fiting fighting. I want the galdori to not be rulers any more, because they are not being fare fair. I do not want any one else to have scars like me, just because I am a wick.

But how do I do it? How do I becum become a smuggler? I do not know any one who is one.

I wood would go to veenda Vienda, but I can not go in because I must have a paper that sez says I live there and can go in. It is caled called a Writ of Rezidence Residence. Da and Daoa used to go in all the time to sell things. That wuz was how I got in trubble trouble the last time, and I have not been in Vienda since then. But I know that some one in there must know how to help me become a smuggler.

But how do I git get into Vienda?
