Back story: Cassi was the product of young love. Her mother and father were both wick however they felt it was best to leave their child to the mother’s Great Aunt Lene.

Cassiopeia was brought up in a loving environment, thanks to her large extended family of the Lost Moon tribe. Cassiopeia loved to dance and play and liked nothing more than entertaining her Aunt with her energetic dancing. From the very moment she could read her Aunt enthused Cassi with her love of stars and Horoscope reading. Lene and her adopted daughter often lead a nocturnal life, sleeping in the day and by night Lene was teaching Cassi all the constellations. By the age of 9 Cassiopeia could name any constellation and form a basic horoscope. She then started helping her Aunt in the family tradition of horoscope reading.

On the eve of her 10th birthday Cassi was taken aside and in a quiet hollow Lene taught Cassi a few just in case spells. Cassi was delighted and a quick learner loved playing tricks on the younger members of the tribe until her Aunt caught her and forbade her to use magic.

In her teenage years Cassi became restless and was spending more and more time gazing up at the stars. Not even family gatherings could placate her and when she was 14 she ran away to the Stacks to try and find out more about the heavens and magic. Cassi was outraged at the pure injustice of Brunnhold University and even though she was desperately seeking tuition in the sciences she was cast out of the city forbidden to return.

On her way home she tarried awhile with a gang of ice-skaters and fell in love with sport, she found a certain natural grace whilst on the ice, but off it she was the same ungainly woman. She stayed for two years and became rather good, but felt her tribe needed her. She still ice-skates as a way to let off steam.

At the age of 21 she returned to the Lost Moon tribe only to find that her Great Aunt had died leaving Cassi her cart, numerous horoscope charts, a strange battered grimoire and a grumpy Osta named Aggie. Her cart was given to her grudgingly and Cassi sensing her unwelcome left the tribe to carry on the family tradition of horoscope reading.

To this date Cassi is still in her cart travelling round Anaxas and giving Brunnhold a wide berth. She still has a thirst for knowledge and determination.

Personality:
Cassiopeia is a bundle of fun, always smiling about something. She loves making friends and is easily trusting. Fond of practical jokes, but she can sometimes be unaware of the ill feelings she has caused. She is so friendly it makes people want to always please her. Her experiences in life have made her easygoing, her large size and athletic build are occasionally a downside as she is fairly clumsy and ungainly. She loves to invent crazy stories for the people she reads horoscopes for and has a wild imagination. Unfortunately she is very forgetful and has a habit of putting things down and then forgetting where she left them, when angered Cassi is a force to be reckoned with and is unaware of her own strength. She also loves touching things and is frequently scolded at markets for touching what shouldn’t have been fiddled with.

Cassiopeia enjoys male and female company but has never had a serious relationship, as often men just see her as a friend rather than a lover.

Physical Description:
Cassiopeia is fairly tall and well built thanks to her dancing and active lifestyle. She is fairly strong but her body doesn’t show it. She has also been graced with rather large feet which add to her clumsiness. Cassi takes pride in her appearance and spends a large amount of time on her hair which is pale blond with blue streaks and reaches down to her waist. Although Cassi tries her hardest her hair is dead straight. She wears her hair in a low ponytail for practical reasons and is forever troubled by her fringe which always flops in her eyes.
Cassi has pale skin which is graced by a thousand freckles. Her face is and oval and is always wearing a smile. Cassi has bright blue eyes and when she smiles she has faint crows feet which mostly go unnoticed due to the large amount of navy blue eye shadow she wears. Cassi also has an extremely large tattoo of a constellation map which stretches across her back.
Cassiopeia’s favourite colour is unsurprisingly night sky blue, and wears a short dark blue blazer with silver edging and a small white tank top underneath. She wears scuffed black knee-high boots and tight dark blue linen trousers. For a mystical effect she wears a battered navy blue tricorne hat.

Goals
Cassi’s Aunt always told her to shoot for the moon and even if she missed she would land among the stars so Cassiopeia’s goals are large and farfetched. She would love to become well known for her work and possibly have her own line of hair products. She is considering joining a group against the galdori, but is unsure which one. Cassi has always felt that life on the lonely road is too hard for her and looking for companionship and maybe a permanent residence. She would also like to improve her magic, as the tricks she could play on people would be limitless and hilarious! But mostly she wants to keep traveling and to continue her peaceful line of work.

Whoops its rather long!

Great character Cassie! Very well done. The only teeny problem is that the legend of Cassiopeia doesn't exist in this world, so that opening story about how she got her name might be a bit confusing.

I like the astronomer angle, it works very well. I haven't yet added all the constellations to the wiki, but they are named after the gods and mythic beasts. There's stuff like Alioe's Eye, Naulas' Hand, Roa's Teeth etc. as well as the Dapao, the Hatcher, and so on. I will hurry and make that wiki page for you so you won't have to invent stuff wildly

For now I will go ahead and approve you (minus the greek mythology sentence) and if you would like to make your own edits I can change the page later. Thanks!

Oh, and also since she's good at Astronomy, I'm going to go ahead and add Navigation to your list of skills, since it's likely she could figure out where she is if she ever got lost at sea. It might come in handy.
