 Writ of Residence If your character is a wick living in Anaxas, you have more than one option!
One, if you're part of the resistance, they can hide you easily. Two, you can go live at one of the camps outside of town. Three, you can become nomadic, perhaps going to join our player-run tribe (Sun Walker). Four, you can remain in the city, in hiding. Five, you can go stay at the wick festival as soon as Bethas rolls around, if only for a month. (But keep in mind that a month of game time is several months of our time; Intas isn't even over yet, and we began the month back in August.)
So don't feel obligated to leave right away, because there are several choices. If you don't like any of those, there's always Old Rose Harbor, where I believe Sarinah is going to be setting up a dance parlor!

I know for sure he'll be heading to Anhau for the festival when that opens up
but in the meantime he may: 1) hide or 2) go with Sariniah to ORH.

Re: Writ of Residence The festival isn't in Anhau.  It's on Surwood Isle. Anhau is an expansion that's not yet open.

Re: Writ of Residence There will be no announcement of the wick's removal. This move is a little unexpected even for the galdori, because it's a big, big project that will take a lot of money and resources and time.
However, the resistance will hear about it a couple days before Morde's announcement. (They have some good intelligence on the case.) So if you'd like to be moved before the purging begins, and you're part of the resistance, you can assume your character caught word sometime in the line of duty.
