!!!Back story:

Wendy was the fourth child of the Tiebold family, and she was raised spoiled. All of her siblings had died in childhood, one by one, so her parents doted on this last one. Everything she ever wanted she was given. She ordered servants around in the household, had her own personal maid since a young age, and learned little during this time. Her hands were filled with sweets and toys.

Her tenth birthday was to be a momentous occasion, of course. She was dressed in her best, although she had thought it too hot and stuffy, and had complained and cried to her mother before the ceremony. All to no avail, she was dressed in her prettiest, and her hair was done up and curled at the sides. She even wore kohl at the edges of her eyes to make them stand out.

But she failed the trials. She scored a 0, and was both surprised and angered to find it so. Maybe even a little afraid. Her parents were looking at her with horror and revulsion, and it hurt Wendy deeply. She was thrust away from her family and into servitude at this young age.

At first she was simply plagued by the anger at how outrageous it all was. How could they kick her, Wendy Tiebold, out? She was their only child! With this anger came hate—hate at the titles that had been ripped away from her, hate at her own family, hate at this system that declared her less than someone else, and especially hate for herself. She wasn’t good enough.

She learned to make do with little, and learned to fear the nobles that she had thought herself on equal terms with. Learned to stay away from the children that she had played with.

As she grew, she learned to stay away from young men, and to cast away all items of vanity. She learned to be invisible. To not call attention to herself. She learned to listen. She learned to wait.

Right now she still works at Brunnhold as an all purpose maid.

!!!Personality:

Wendy’s upbringing has made her selfish. She isn’t in the revolution to help the humans rise above the nobles, she’s in it to get revenge. She’s very decisive about what is right, and what is wrong— mostly formulating these decisions based on her own desires.

Because of these injustices she’s also very angry. She’s angry with herself for not being good enough, so she always pushes herself to improve. She’s angry at the world for not giving her its dues, so she’s going to get back at the world.

But these deep angers are different than what is on the surface. In front of Galdori she’s a coward, fearful of a pinch or punch that would send her sprawling. She follows their every command, unquestioning. The perfect servant. In front of the rebels, she changes her face yet again, informative and quick. With them, she is strong and loyal.

Above all, Wendy is an actress. She’s learned to be, as a Passive. It is the only way her kind can survive.

It’s important to mention that Wendy sees herself as a Passive ever since she was made a maid at the request of her parents. At first it meant something shameful to her, but as time went on she found herself thinking about who she was, and what made her who she was. She wasn’t a Galdori, and she wasn’t a human…she was a passive. And she was sick of hearing it as a derogatory term. She refuses to be pitied by other humans, and refuses to be coddled into feeling sorry for herself. This is who she is, and she’d be proud of it if it killed her.

And she’d make other see the value of her kind if it killed her as well.

She’s also suspicious of everyone’s motives, from constantly being on her guard. She rarely lets others show her kindness without looking for some ulterior motive.

!!!Description:

Wendy has black hair that goes down to her chin, with bangs that cover her eyes, which are almost shaped and brown. She’s found it most useful to hide her eyes in the presence of others, while looking through her hair at people.

Her skin is, of course, pale. From lack of sunlight as well as from being of Galdori descent. When she tans she turns into a pale underneath light olive brown, but usually gets sunburns before she tans.

She’s got several scars on her ribs and her back from steel-toed boots, and her hands are callused. Her ears are pierced, but the holes have closed over.

As well as being lithe and small, Wendy has a small chest and small hips. Her features could be called ‘pixie like’, although her lips are redder than most.

To get rid of the Galdori rule and get equal rights for Passives by helping the rebellion. This is a selfish motivation. She wants her own titles back. If the Galdori got rid of the laws that held her down she wouldn’t bother helping the humans at all.

good character sheet. i love the idea of a new, strong passive. have you decided what spell you will have? (passives can have one spell - can even be a level 3 spell - that goes off at random times.)

Yay for more passives ... and it's always nice to see some passives of the female persuasion. *tips hat* We have similar aspirations, but slightly different goals. Perhaps if I ever make it out of Old Rose and into the capitol, we should have to run into each other.

Hal and Vi are all for passive rights. They're hoping to free the passives, if nothing else, and could benefit from added help on the front. Maybe they'll meet sometime!

I can go ahead and approve you if you'll clarify in your backstory where she is working now. Is she still at Brunnhold, working for a teacher or staff, or is she someone's personal servant? (if she was a personal servant it would probably be to a noble or a politician.)

Edit: Oh, and for the spell...I don't know how that works...I thought the moderators assigned a spell and then made it go off at random times?

Goodness me, I almost forgot about the spell. =p No, you get to choose your own spell, and we'll list it on your character sheet. It will go off at random, but since the spell might have certain significance to your character, you must choose it yourself. You can choose any of the spells (even up to level 3) and you can customize the effects if you want.
