!!!Backstory

Spark was born in a caravan of the Lost Moon tribe somewhere out in the vast open areas of the nomadic lands. As the youngest of three siblings, one older brother and their older sister, she often felt that she was going to be overlooked during her childhood and she developed a very bright and energetic personality as she matured in an effort to draw attention to herself. It wasn't really necessary for her to become quite as exuberant as she did but she was having fun with it all so she saw no reason to stop. Despite the often annoying attention seeking behaviour she often displayed as a child, Spark got on extremely well with her family and found it easy to make friends around the tribe.

Her childhood also brought her into contact with the thing that she would decide to devote her life to, animals. Spark became madly keen on all kinds of creatures the instant she was handed her first pet at the age of four, a hingle who she named Puff. Her parents were some of the breeders and trainers of the wild horses that the Lost Moon moved around with and they were very encouraging of the positive attitude that she developed towards the world around her. Spark also had a knack for getting to know and understand an animal just by spending time with it and as she matured and worked alongside the rest of the tribe she learned to train animals by interacting with them very closely and by simply being kind and gentle towards them. This even went as far as her believing that people could be dealt with in very much the same manner.

Eventually Spark made a decision that instead of continuing to work with the horses that the tribe was famous for, she would instead focus on the smaller, cuddlier and more colourful animals. She still loved the horses but she found that she was very much happier working with smaller animals that could be trained to do all sorts of things rather than just be a working animal, plus it sounded like a lot of fun to her. This is what led her to begin her own business breeding and training animals such as hingles, whice and osta. As well as trading the animals she would also set up events and displays using her better trained animals. One of her favourites is to get her whice to fly in some kind of formation, especially if their plumage makes a coloured pattern.

Even though she still considers herself very much a part of the Lost Moon tribe she eventually decided to drift out on her own. The restriction of remaining with the tribe's wild horses meant that she never really had a chance to fully explore her surroundings. Her focus has remained with the smaller animals that she cares for and trains. She often stops in most built up areas to put on small displays and she is very happy with any attention that she can draw with her menagerie of cute and colourful animals.

!!!Personality

Spark is a very bubbly and exuberant person and has been ever since she was a child. She has a great love for anything cute and cuddly and will often express it in a very hyperactive fashion. She enjoys attention wherever she can get it and will often go to quite a length so that she can stand out in some manner, usually involving a large amount of bouncy activity on her part.

This may be her default personality most of the time but the most marked change that can be seen in her personality is when she becomes angry or upset. If someone has made Spark angry then they will hear about it; the thing that is most likely to set her off is if she witnesses some kind of cruel activity towards an animal and in some cases if she sees a person being mistreated. This comes from her style of animal training and her belief that you can get through life being nice and pleasant to everyone and everything around you, and she wants to continue to believe that is the case so is prone to berating those that she witnesses going against this.

!!!Physical Description

Spark is very slight in build and 5'2" in height making her a relatively small person. Her hair is long and light brown in colour but she has made it much more vibrant by adding streaks of red and purple dye through the length of her hair, chosen to match with her current favourite whice's plumage. The colours were also chosen without any thought to her green eyes which clash quite dramatically. Having worked and lived outside for most of her life her skin is fairly tan. She does have quite a few small scars up her hands and arms where various animals have scratched or bitten her over the years, especially since she'll often have several whice sit on one arm at a time.

*Shriek - A male whice with red and purple plumage. Although she'll often care for many animals, Spark has grown very attached to Shriek and they are rarely apart.

This is just a notice to say that Spark is definitely not the type of character I usually play in RP. I'm trying to get out of my usual patterns and play something different.

I just ask that you bear with me as my writing may not be very good starting out with this character until I get a feel for her.

Thanks for being patient. Here's just a few things about your sheet before we can set you on the road to approval:

1. 5'5" is not entirely short, in Thorns, comparatively, even for a wick. While wicks tend to be of taller stock because of their mixed heritage, the average height for a galdori is only 5'4"/5'5", so a wick that height wouldn't necessarily be short. Humans are the tallest, with wicks somewhere in between.

2. While there's nothing wrong with your goals, we feel they're a little vague. A specific short-term goal and something of a more general long-term goal are always something good to start from. Remember, goals can be changed in-game as your character meets other players, etc.

3. Lastly, while this isn't an edit per se, it's a bit of a warning: We do not currently have any active players as members of the Lost Moon tribe still in the tribe. Any Lost Moon wick players have drifted and are doing their own things, so it may be a bit of a challenge to interact with too many others in the beginning with the exception of some Lost Moon NPCs from us mods. Drifting from the tribe is an option for Spark, but there's always the chance that the Lost Moon will end up traveling somewhere so you can have a chance at meeting new faces. You could also consider another tribe (Red Crow who are near Vienda or the Yellow Eye who are in Dorhaven), but, again, most of our wick members of that tribe are currently doing their own thing.

Just something to consider, but that last point is not a mandatory change.
