!!!Backstory

Odette was born to a very prominent family in galdori society. Her father was a Gioran with traditional values, a higher up somewhere in the educational structure of Brunnhold. Her mother was a well known amongst the Anaxi social circles for her successful galas and charity events. She had a closer relationship with Odette through childhood than most. Her mother had always wanted to marry and have the luxury of being a very successful and involved member of the upper class. Part of her duties, of course, was to raise a lovely child, and she did this with the best of care.

Through her early childhood Odette learned many things through her mother, mostly how to be a perfect socialite, as well as other ‘proper’ pastimes like painting and drawing or sewing. She was a truly lovely woman and always encouraged Odette, yet never failed to bark a harsh correction if she got out of line. Odette earned a seven on the Brunnhold entrance exams. Her parents were quite proud. Since her acceptance she has upheld above average grades, something her father has no less than black mailed her into as of late, bribing her with her true dream, her very own shop in Kingsway Market.

Since the age of fifteen Odette has always had trouble finding interesting, unique, well fitting clothing for her mother’s events. She would sketch the outfits she had seen and loved on the guests, eventually creating a style all her own by mixing and matching different parts of the dresses she drew and the fashions she saw around Vienda. Her father had caught her sneaking in late one school night and has since installed locks on her windows and this new rule; as long as she keeps her grades up her father will buy her any open shop in the market she’d like. Her father had always been quite reasonable and thought that this idea would bring a good bit of fame to the family.

This will be her senior year at Brunnhold. Previously she had lived at home with her father, this was only allowed because of his prominence in the school system. She believed it was for him to keep a close eye on her. However, her mother had finally convinced her father to let her stay on campus this one final year, as a rite of passage, so to speak. Her father reluctantly agreed but not before warning Odette that he had eyes all over the school and would know of any “improper behavior.”

!!!Personality

As part of a prominent galdori family she of course acquired a habitual disdain for humans and wicks alike, something that has been ingrained in her since birth. This caste system is widely accepted and she finds no problems with it, all the humans she had met were violent and unrefined, the wicks were unruly and rebellious. She almost pities them, almost.

She is very good at school and earns extremely good grades. Consequentially she has no social life, something she hopes to gain in this year of living on campus. She is kind to most other galdori, as long as they show her a common level of respect that everyone deserves, every galdori at least. She enjoys alone time, but doesn’t mind people. She likes getting dressed up and showing her latest fashions at her mother’s events. She is quite an average teenager, she has no problem with older galdori; she knows a good deal of them because of her mother’s activities, she also gets along quite well with galdori her own age, however her father usually scares them off. With her living at the dorms now she is hoping to gain more friends without her father’s interference.

!!!Physical Description

Odette has blue eyes that can range from a shade of grey to a vibrant dodger blue depending on what color she’s wearing that day. She has inky black hair, inherited from her mother, which she styles neatly in the side buns accustomed to female students her age. Her bangs are side swept and kept quite long, often hanging in front of her left eye. Longer pieces of hair descend from her temples, and are usually lightly curled and hang to about her collarbones, which are ever so noticeable on her lean frame. She is quite thin and has very small curves. She is only about 5’4” and is quite graceful, something she inherited from her father. When not in school uniform she is usually wearing a garment of her own creation, going with whatever foreign style suits her fancy that day. She also enjoys fashioning her hair in elaborate up do’s for fancy affairs. On any given day you can find her in a range of outfits from her school attire to a creation all her own to a freshly imported exotic fashion.

!!!Inventory

Stuff:
*A seer stone in the form of a Cameo necklace. Something passed down for generations on her mother’s side.
*Loads and loads of clothing, mostly handmade, along with a vast collection of shoes.
*Plenty of accessories in all colors.
*Lot’s of fabric and a room for all her sewing and art accoutrements.

To graduate with honors next year and open a shop of her very own in Kingsway Market, under the dome of course. To marry a stable, high class, galdori, preferably one that she loves and is attracted to. To live a very happy and fulfilled life, with a large house, preferably in Muffey, however it is of course depending on her husbands’ wishes. To be a very successful and involved socialite.

Here are some things you should go back and fix:
1. Homemaker's technically shouldn't exist because they've got maids to make homes... but if you want your character can be a socialite!
2. Rite of passage, not right.
3. There's no training required for the Brunnhold exam.
4. We're going to ask you to remove the dagger-- that's what magic is for, and she wouldn't be able to use it because she's wearing so many skirts in game either.
5. For the galdori, most clothing is hand-made. Mass produced clothing is generally very functional and unglamorous.
6. This isn't necessary, but you might want to think about having a career oriented character-- since she wants to graduate with honors.
7. Go over your sheet once more and check your tenses. You slipped into present a few times.

About the tenses, her father is still living so should I still put that in past tense? I read it over and I start to twitch. Hahahahaha.
