!!!Backstory

Raph grew up in Muffey with a charmed childhood. Her parents were never particularly interested in her upbringing but were always willing to give her things to make her smile. Their household was a pleasant one, on a whole, and Raph grew up quite spoiled. She was taught all of the proper things a galdor should know like which silverware to use for the salad and how to speak in polite company. Her parents were quite pleased with her and often bragged about her accomplishments to their friends.

Early on Raph discovered her love of fashion. Anything and everything to do with appearances began to fascinate her on a deeper level than any of her other endeavors. Soon the only things she ever asked her parents for were bolts of cloth, sewing utensils, and paper to scrawl out ideas. By the time she was 10 she could sew together simple, plain things and had countless drawings of current fashion as well as her own unique looks.

While she was growing she would occationally over hear her parents talking of the other races. Their fear and hatred easily rubbed off onto her and she grew to agree with them in every sense. Though she was not witness to any of the violent revolts Muffey sometimes suffered, she heard enough to form some very biassed opinions on the matter. She considered humans unworth her time in almost every respect, and while she was willing and able to deal with them politely it was only because her parents taught her to be kind to her inferiors. Wicks she openly distrusted and would not trade with at all.. Passives terrified her but she would never admit it out loud. The very thought that a galdor could be born without the very thing that rose them above the others shook her to her core and was the only reason she put any effort at all into magic.

She was able to pass her initiation test, but only just. She didn't mind as long as she had -some- magic to separate her from the passives. The knowledge that she had come so close to failing the initiation test merely caused her to pity passives on top of avoiding them. It gave her the false notion that she understood them on a level other galdori might not.

While she was definately not the most promising of students Raph was at least able to keep up and spent a good deal of her time avoiding servants and fussing over the latest fashion trends. She never stopped making clothing and by the time she was 15 had replaced most of her wardrobe with creations of her own design.


!!!Personality

Raph has always had a sweet personality. She's built her life up trying to please everyone she meets and has gained a pretty decent knowledge of how to be charming. She considers herself a very non-judgemental person and if it weren't for her very obvious racism she probably would be. She doesn't consider her way of thinking wrong and has grown accustomed to viewing the world in this way. She is kind to people she feels are inferior, but it is a forced kindness and she keeps her interactions with the other races and passives to a minimum if possible.

She can be a bit obsessive about fashion and has a tendancy to rant on about it at length if somebody accidentally lets on that they're even a little interested about it. She will judge people based on what they are wearing, but if they are full blooded galdor she will forgive them bad fashion sense in an instant with the mentality that it is her duty to show them the light. She also has the unfortunate tendancy to get into people's personal space when discussing what would look good on them, a touch here, a critical eye there, and most people are quite unnerved by the time she's through. She remains blissfully ignorant of how uncomfortable she can make people.

!!!Physical Description

Raph is short. Very very short, even by galdori standards. Her ample curves were completely monopolized by her hips, leaving her chest rather flat and giving her something of a pear-shape. She is almost always dressed to the hilt, never ever succumbing to a more casual look because she finds appearances one of the most important things in life.

Without makeup Raph's facial features are dreadfully plain. Her nose, mouth and ears are all too small for her head and her eyes are a very boring shade of grey. Her hair is a common red-brown color. She is skilled enough in makeup to emphasize her eyes and use eyeshadow to give them color they don't necissarily have. She pulls out all the stops daily when it comes to makeup, trying to make her lips less thin and her nose less pointed. Raph almost always wears enormous earrings to call attention away from her actual ears if she hasn't covered them up with hair or hat.

!!!Inventory

Hi Raph Nice sheet! We have a student who would probably love to hang out with Raphaela, as she's also interested in fashion (Stephanie).

We just had a few notes for you:

- You use the word "galdori" in the singular a couple times; it's always plural or adjectival. The singular form is "galdor" for both male and female.
- A student wouldn't be allowed to modify their uniform, but she's able to have another wardrobe for when she's not in class, so I recommend you focus on that as her outlet for creativity.
- The body shape you described is actually the current fashionable beauty ideal (wide hips, flat chest) for women. If she had a wider waist, narrower hips or wider shoulders it would make her as socially unattractive as you were going for.
- daily/dayly, /affective/effective are mixed up
- a few short-term goals would help out your goals section.
- The line about the initiation test seems to indicate that the test is based on skill or preparedness, but it's actually just a measuring of monic potential, so her interest in magic wouldn't have anything to do with it. The news about her test might have affected her interest in magic but not the other way around.

Alright, I tweaked her a bit. I would like to keep her shaped the way she is, so I dropped the line about how she's unhappy about it. I also edited the section about her initiation pretty heavily, so hopefully that fits better.

I hope I caught everything! (And she's totally going to pout every time she wears the uniform now, haha, that should be a lot of fun. )
