Aye had never been in Dorhaven for any long amount of time; she had always been traveling. That being the case, the girl was used to coming home and seeing things very changed from the way she'd last seen them. New people sometimes walked the streets, new vendors set up shop in the place of old ones, and wick families left to travel all the time, not to mention the gollies she had seen wandering the town. There were perhaps only a few people the wick girl was close to in the entire city, and she had no clue where they were.

As soon as they had stopped rolling the wheels, Aye knew she wanted food. She had a few coins from back in the rose, poor suckers never knew what hit them, and so she knew she could at least afford a small meal in a cheaper bar. She glanced back at the food supply and had to guiltily admit to herself that she had put quite a dent in it... Maybe she could buy Remilo some food as well? It wasn’t like it was her money.

The next thing she knew they would need was a place to park Rem's kint. They couldn’t just leave it at the edge of town; it would be too tempting for someone to steal on their way out.

But, she thought, they could eat first.

She glanced around town for a place that didn’t look fancy but would still be open, and decided to go to one that an old family friend of hers had taken her to when they had first arrived back in town. Way back when she still knew exactly where her aunts and uncles and other guardians were. Now that she had gotten old enough to fend for herself they had probably gone off on their own, she just had no idea where.

"Hey, Rem," she looked up at him with a smile, "I think we need food, an' I think I’ve got just enough teh buy you dinner as thanks!" she said and nodded. And if not, they could always dine and dust...

"What d'yeh say, I've got a place in mind an' everythin' "

"Ahhh" Remilo sighed. He had been reminiscing of this beautiful place ever since Aye had mentioned it over a week earlier. The fresh smell of Dorhaven, who knew how much I's miss you. He closed his eyes and took another deep breath. He longed to be once again among the trees, so much of it unexplored, and all of it so fresh and beautiful. The city is impressive, but she's nothing when compared to you. The smog and the filth, the lack of trees and color. No; I would take you any day Dorhaven

Remilo and Aye rolled along into the city and stopped for a woman and her kenser pulling a cart of hay. Ylalie looked over at Remilo and said



Remilo placed his hand on his grumbling stomach. He could do with some food, and if the kid was buying even better. Traveling with another person made the time pass quickly, but it was another mouth to feed, and the price of food added up. "Ey, thanks lil' boch." he said rustling her hair. "A meal sounds good 'bout now."

Aye grinned and pointed out the direction of the bar. She could never remember the name, but she at least knew how to get there. If the place was anything like she remembered; it had huuuge chairs all gathered around really big round tables, the tables and chairs all thrown into one really gigantic room. What she didn’t realize was that the chairs weren’t big; so much as she was really small on her last visit to the place.

She was definitely very happy to be in Dorhaven, the next stop after food and sleep would be to go see the circus, and boy was she excited about that. She would probably sneak her way in instead of paying; she didn’t have the money to do that anyway.

"No Problem, balach. T's just right over there!" She pointed again at a largish wooden building. It had been painted nicely since she was last here, but she could still tell by its shape.

Remilo looked in the direction Aye was pointing and saw a large, two story building with a fresh set of paint; he recalled it from the last time he was in Dorhaven, but he had never been inside. Remilo once again felt a grumble in his stomach, and put his hand over it. Yes, a meal would be benny right now.

Remilo locked up the caravan, and tied his kenser up to a post in front of the bar. "You're a benny girl Uni. Good job." he said, letting the kenser eat some nearby grass.

"Alright, Aye. Let's go get some yats."

Aye smiled and nodded, then sped up to the door and yanked it open, she could just reach the handle, and waited for Rem to walk in. After he had passed her, she skipped over to an empty table, noticing that they were smaller than she remembered, and may even have been replaced to attract tourists.

The atmosphere was quiet, almost nice, and very different from Old Rose. She missed the sounds of glass breaking against walls and punches being thrown, but maybe the food would be better than in the harbor, even if the atmosphere wasn’t. The place was well lit with a fireplace and candles nailed to the walls, oil lamps even hung above the tables. Waitresses went from table to table, and Aye noticed that they wore more clothes than those in
Old Rose, and they still had a large number of their teeth.

"Ah, this's benny, eh?" She asked her friend, motioning around the room. A delicious smell passed under her nose and caught her by surprise; she had definitely been in the harbor for too long, this food smelled good, edible unlike that in The Rose.

Remilo followed Aye to the door, and ducked a little to get through. He looked around and took in the restaurant. It was very spacious for Dorhaven, and had many tables, with several waitresses helping out some other customers. The two huge front window had been covered by cloths, probably for privacy, but he had no problem seeing because of all the candles and a fireplace. He had been there once or twice before, but was saving his money so he did not eat out much.
