!!!History:
Dom Leon was a prodigy.

He didn’t have any outstanding talent, but his parents told him he was a prodigy all the same. They were both galdori who made there home among humans, quite happily, in fact. They liked farming. They had a lot of money, but pretended they didn’t. Dom, as a child, was furious.

One day, somebody robbed them. Bags of gold were stowed away because his Mother and Father were tired of living like the noblemen that they were. It was why they moved to such plain a town as Dutaim.

Only one other person knew where the Leon family kept their gold – and he was a human.

Mr Roach. A family friend. Grudgingly put up with by Dom - until the day they were robbed.

He unleashed fury never before seen in the twelve year old. He accused Mr Roach of stealing the gold, and vowed to bring the human and his family to their knees within the year. He ruined their crops, sabotaged their farming equipment, and poisoned one of the horses. Needless to say, he was sent away to Brunnhold University to straighten out.

Could his parents have been any more naïve?

Nobody found out who stole the gold, but nobody found out how Dom had reacted to it either. It was during his time at the University that Dom finally lived up to his role as a prodigy. He excelled in every subject, particularly Physical Magic. He was also a devout Circlist, spending much of his time within the walls of the Church. For a time, he desperately wanted to become a member of the Everine. However, his frequent, violent outbursts and tendencies caused his teachers to steer him towards a more active career – something physical, so as to allow him channel his energy - release it - rather than allowing it to pulsate deep within him like a dreadful, black and hidden heart.

He trained for the Seventen. He moved in high circles. He never spoke to his parents again.

Up until recently, Dom was an active member of the Seventen – highly regarded, respected. It is said that he was even good friends with Hanz himself. But recently, although he is still in perfect health, he has been advised by his doctors to slow down. He can enforce the ways of the galdori just as effectively behind closed doors, they said. So although he is still seen frequently in the streets, he acts more as a figurehead – a teacher. A man one aspires to be like.

He enjoys making the humans and the wicks uncomfortable by his mere presence. No doctor in the world could every convince him to think otherwise.

!!!Personality
His player also controls the student galdor, Jasper. Whereas Jasper’s loyalties are ambiguous, dependent upon, and shaped by the influence of those around him, Dom is very much set in his ways. The only shaping he’ll be doing is the re-shaping of some unfortunate’s facial configuration.

He is a jovial man, with a booming voice and thunderous laughter. He jogs to work every day, through the streets, amid wick, human and galdori alike. But there is a madness in his eyes. He’ll smile even as he’s about to break your head. He talks to everyone as if they were either his greatest friend or his worst enemy. And whether it may be a little extreme to say that he’d kill a human as soon as look one – it’s not too far from the truth. He detests wicks also. But humans hold a special place in his heart.

!!!Description

He is built like a steam engine – hard as steel, loud and deceptively fast. I know it’s an overused term, but he really is barrel-chested. He has cropped, auburn hair, dark eyes and a hefty nose. His facial hair is trim and slightly darker than the hair on his head, which is beginning to grey at the sides. In his youth he was considered a handsome man – if not a little imposing, even for the toughest of girls. He is tall, with huge hands and tree-branch arms. As said before, he is deceptively nimble for a man of his stature and age.

!!!Occupation
Semi-retired member of the Seventen, although when he talks, everybody listens. He still has a lot of influence, and he still involves himself in the activities of the guards.

!!!Goals
To keep peace within the Kingdoms. To exert total control over the lesser races. To stop vagrants in their tracks and unearth any underground resistance groups.

[[I hope I've formatted this right. And I hope its ok that he is a member of the seventen. I've left his inventory vague because I'm not sure what kind of things he would be expected to carry around with him, as a guard. I also play Jasper : )]]

My other character, Jaqueline, is from Dutaim, although she's considerably younger than yours. Maybe he knew her parents...

AWESOME I will have to take out the OOC bits about Jasper and "I know" etc, but otherwise this is fantastic. A baddie!

Just a note - please don't have this teacher interact with Jasper in RP, even if they do know each other distantly.

Oh and I understand about taking out the sort of fourth wall references. I just couldn't think how to pull off that 'the only shaping he'll be doing' gag without the Jasper half of it, lol.
