A letter to Professor Mackay Benstrum
This letter, inked on cheap old paper but by a sure hand in old-fashioned calligraphy, was delivered at Brunnhold gate on Loshis 30, addressed to professor Benstrum.
Quote:
Dear Professor,
I'd like to thank you for your recommendation, and my subsequent posting within the university.
I'm afraid that my blood has me met with more resistance than we anticipated, as my position is now a house-keeper for human gardeners in the outer campus, not allowed to approach the inner campus. But I still think the recommendation was very helpful as without it, I would not even have passed the wall. I include my current address here below.
Of course, my research ambitions have suffered accordingly, and I must admit I have not made much progress. I am currently trying to understand aquamancy, but I clearly have problems achieving the right mindset to succeed in something so different from my usual undertakings.
If you wish to discuss this one day, I have water for tea ready any when in the afternoon.
Respectful Regards,
Hau Nen Shi Hacks
