!!!Backstory

Mauvey was the second born child to her parents. The family of four lived in the town of Muffey, squeezed into a quaint yet expensive home. Her father was a dashing Hoxian man who had an excellent reputation around town while her mother was a beautiful Gioran woman who was thought a little less of in society because of her lack of albinism.

Mauvey started out as a child who would do anything for attention from pleasing her parents by doing extra chores to smashing an expensive piece of china. Her parents never paid much attention to her though. They always pushed her aside to praise her snooty brother, being proud of their firstborn son who was doing extremely well in developing his magic.

When Mauvey finally turned ten, she was incredibly excited to take her test. Once she had the power to control magic, she could do whatever she wanted! Then she would be the one who her parents were extremely proud of, not her older brother. … At least that’s what she thought.

After she got a score of 0 on the test, her parents didn’t think twice about sending her to the safe walls of the university, wanting to hide their newly discovered failure of a daughter from society.
Ever since then, she has been working as a slave in Brunnhold, just waiting for a chance to escape.


!!!Personality

Mauvey isn’t the type to show her emotions easily to others. Her lips are usually pulled into a small pout or a simple frown, making her actually look cuter. No one knows much about her, but for the lucky few that have had a chance to speak with her, they will know that she isn’t too great at long conversations. Mauvey secretly wants to have a group of friends she can pour her feelings out to, but she has always been too nervous to even try and befriend someone. She is usually found standing alone by a window looking up at the sky; always daydreaming. Mauvey is offended easily, but once again, she never shows it. Her expressions are rid of any sign of caring.

She makes up for her lack of talking in the little things she does. Her habit of being an attention lover hasn't completely gone away as she is always trying to get people's attention. Though it may not be by speaking, she will either help them out or do things to annoy them.

Mauvey is a very fast runner, even while wearing a skirt or dress, so she is almost always one of the first ones to finish her chores.
She despises cooking and cleaning with a passion. She’d way rather take on the task of looking after someone or running errands as she finds that quite enjoyable to do.

Whenever Mauvey thinks about her parents, she gets incredibly upset; She doesn't understand why they didn't love her but instead hated her even more when the news came that she was a passive. Shouldn't parents love their child no matter what?

Because Mauvey is a passive, she greatly envies every wick and galdori in all of the Ten Kingdoms. She secretly wishes that she could also do magic, not only to prove to her parents that she is a worthy daughter but also so she can discover and practice it.

!!!Physical Description

Bearing some traits of a Hoxian galdori as her father was one, Mauvey has pale ivory, soft looking skin. Though she has no scars or blemishes, she has a few distinct beauty marks. One is just below her right eye while another is dotted above her thin lips on the left side. Since one of her shirts has a fairly low collar, two more beauty marks are visible on her chest.

She tries her best to never roll her sleeves up too high, not wanting to show the tattoo to anyone. Though it is already obvious she is a passive by the excessive amount of blue she must wear, she still ashamed of the mark that is always tingling on her skin.

Mauvey is the average size for a Hoxian, standing at about 5’. She has almost no hips and fairly small shoulders, making her look younger then she actually is.

Her thick hair, a lovely trait from her mother, falls down to the middle of her back but is usually pinned up in a pretty style, letting her bangs sweep across her face.

Her eyes are still slanted like normal Hoxian folks, but they are also quite large and child-like. She has light green eyes with a whisper of yellow in them. Her eyelashes are lacking in numbers but her extravagantly colored eyes take away from the simplicity of the rest of her face. She has fairly thick eyebrows that are barely the length of her eye in the same strawberry blond color as her wavy locks.

Mauvy always wears blue attire against her will, usually wishing she could wear different shades of colors that complement her hair and eye colors better. She is seen mostly in her lower collared shirt and her thinner skirt that falls to the floor.

She likes to keep her hands clean and soft and as a result she has well kept fingernails that are rarely dirty.

Mauvey’s voice isn’t too high or too low, simply a mixture of them both. She would never be mistaken for a boy as her tone is quiet and soft with a feminine sort of rasp in it. Her voice is calming to listen to, but she doesn’t enjoy talking to people.

Since Mauvey has been put to work for eight long years of slavery in Brunnhold University, she yearns to escape and live a life of freedom and excitement. She finds that the laws set down for passives are unfair and uncivil. She desperately wants to be appreciated and loved for who she is; even if she can’t do magic.

One day, Mauvey is hoping to rid herself from Brunnhold, maybe even Anaxas all together, and start a small family with the love of her life she has yet to meet.

Hello! Before you can start playing there are a few things we'd like you to fix!

1. You might want to try a more traditional backstory for your character. The assassin scenario is a little far fetched for this world. The galdori wouldn't adopt a wick child. They're very racist against them. If you like, Mauvy can be the second child after a boy-- that way she'd still be neglected but it would make sense in game.

2. Why does Mauvy look Hoxian? Could you please describe this in her back story, or remove it completely?

Having come from a galdori family, there's a great sentiment of dislike (even hatred) toward wicks due to, as the galdori see it, their bastardization of magic. It would be highly unlikely that she would develop "great respect" for them. Perhaps a feeling of jealousy for their lifestyle and freedom would be more appropriate.

Things are looking good here. There are still some issues with grammar and syntax (some awkward sentences, strange tenses, and just some general structure). I'm going to go ahead and approve you, but I need you to go through one more time before we put this in the Yellow Pages.
