!!!Backstory: Having spent her childhood in a normal wick upbringing, Contessa learned the fine art of pick pocketing and con artistry. Her entire life she excelled at these. At sixteen she decided to go in search of adventure, never quite satisfied with her surroundings, she was constantly looking for the next biggest thing. Her search led her to the docks and onto a ship. She had fought the first mate, literally to prove her worth and found herself as a bosun on board the Crying Banshee. After a few years she once again grew bored and went in search of something new. While working on the ships she had heard about some new type of ship that floated in the air. This, this was the next big thing she thought as she headed off to find out more about the aero ships and how she could land herself a position on one.

!!!Personality: Contessa has an insatiable curiosity and gets bored easily, however when given a job she performs it to the best of her ability and often strives for excellence. She is a quick learner and is also quite intelligent. Though her smarts tend to come from experience more than books.

!!!Physical Description: Long dark hair with strings of jewels in it. She carries a pistol on her hip and has knives stored all over her person. She is fond of gadgets and has acquired quite a few of them. From spring loaded bracers with small daggers to a map case that opens at the push of a button she can usually be seen with some kind of interesting thing close at hand. Her face is always covered in a look of inquisition. If she finds you particularly amusing or interesting she will cock her head to the side and her eyes sparkle. She has an infectious grin that only one side of her mouth lifts in a quirky way. Her eyes are a deep brown and her chin juts out cutely. She is a very voluptuous woman and is quite aware of it. She wears an under bust corset made of leather. Shiny because it is covered in a waterproof oil. Her shoulders are bare and she has tattoos on them of spiraling tribal that reaches down into her cleavage and over her shoulder blades in the back. Her chemise is an off the shoulder one and is a deep red. Her pants are tight and disappear into cavalier boots that reach her thighs. These too are covered in a waterproofing material.

*Bosun Job Description :

The boatswain or bosun works in a ship's deck department as the foreman of the deck crew. Sometimes, the boatswain is also a third or fourth mate. A bosun must be highly skilled in all matters of seamanship required for working on deck of a seagoing vessel. The bosun is distinguished from other able seamen by the supervisory roles: planning, scheduling, and assigning work.
As deck crew foremen, the boatswain plans the day's work and assigns tasks to the deck crew. As work is completed, the boatswain checks on completed work for compliance with approved operating procedures.
Outside the supervisory role, the boatswain regularly inspects the vessel and performs a variety of routine, skilled, and semi-skilled duties to maintain all areas of the ship not maintained by the engineering department. These duties can include cleaning, painting, and maintaining the vessel's hull, superstructure and deck equipment as well as executing a formal preventive maintenance program.
A boatswain's skills may include cargo rigging, winch operations, deck maintenance, working aloft, and other duties required during deck operations. This master mariner is well versed in the care and handling of lines. A boatswain will have knowledge of and ability to use knots, hitches, bends, whipping, and splices as needed to perform tasks such as mooring a vessel. Competencies extend to the safe operation of a windlass. Duties may require operating the basic functions of a windlass, including letting go and heaving up an anchor. Moreover, a boatswain may be called upon to lead firefighting efforts or other emergency procedures encountered in the inherently dangerous environment of a ship. Effective boatswains are able to integrate their seafarer skills into supervising and communicating with members of deck crew with often diverse backgrounds.
Originally, on board sailing ships the boatswain was in charge of a ship's anchors, cordage, colours, deck crew and the ship's boats. The boatswain would also be in charge of the rigging while the ship was in dock

Contessa’s goals are mostly to explore new and interesting things. She loves hard work and the fellowship that comes from working the seas and is an excellent bosun. She is constantly looking for people who are interesting and things that will garner her attention for more than a few minutes.

lmao i wish! wicks rock, but i dunno sometimes i think my mom rest her soul was full of magic, she could hit me round the corner with a phone and pull it back by the cord and never miss a beat in her conversation and she always knew when i was up to no good...
