Now that Fred's promised to help out the garden ghosts, he might have bitten off more than he can chew, so to speak. I was thinking that we should spread the, er , wealth. Storywise that is.

Basically, Fred doesn't want to rush blindly into the garden for fear of playing the part of the bad guy in the little drama and getting holes punched in him by Picky the Pickaxe ( we probably need a better name for him than that...). So it's research time.

He's enlisting Alisoina to help identify the young woman and see if she can uncover more about the story/legend.

In the meantime, he'll be going at it from the gardener angle, trying to find out when a gardener might have gone missing. I'm assuming his friends in the stable will be able to direct him to whomever he should speak with in that regard. (?)

Of course, he still needs to find out what's keeping them there...

And he'll be setting up surveillance to try to keep anyone else from getting eaten, which could mean an encounter with whoever Ophelia has assigned to watch over the maze. And - if Heather's interested - Fowler.

Basically it's a long plot, but hopefully not too complicated to sustain. I'm just not sure if anyone else will be interested in sticking it out. What do you think?

Yeah, this post is kind of a "feeler" thread to see who all is interested. Then we can figure out how they'll fit together. And it needn't be all students. (wink-wink you know who you are )

Feels weird to ask but could Triston join? Not sure how much help she would be, but It would be really fun. Maby the gardener ghost would be less likely to hack her to peices since she has no field...or not. Well either way it sounds like fun.

Triston: Of course. Actually I was trying to figure out how and came up with the awful idea of having Fred bump into Triston in the hall and say something stupid like: "Oh, gee, you're a pass- I mean servant. You must know about all the other servants right?" but I think it would make more sense if they bumped into each other near or in Harper's office. Fred would be there looking for info on suspicious disappearances of passive servants maybe?

Heather: I'd actually been hoping for Fred and Fowler to meet up since I submitted the character, but then y'all rushed off to the Circus. Maybe they could meet up in the lab and gossip about that Susan chick. (Psst! She's all snooty now, but do you know she's growing a Secret Toxic Garden...)

My character hasn't been approved yet, but this would be a great way to get him involved in the plot. As soon as my character is accepted, I'm more then willing to join, if you'll all have me. C:
