[H19-Black Dove-Early Morning] A Friend in Need [Open]
Adelle woke to the cold, damp air. It still smelled from the rain the previous night. As her eyes jumped open, as they usually do, she saw Chace. As she usually does. She got to her feet, hearing the singing birds, the ocean, the wind, a rain storm that hasn't quite gotten to the Rose yet. It was time for breakfast. She could tell.
"Chace," She called. "Y' hungry? Bet we can find someone in th' Rose ta' give us some food!" Chace sluggishly followed Adelle. Something about the way he looked made her feel bad for a moment, but she brushed the thought away quickly, and the two were off to Old Rose.
They walked around shops and in them. They stopped at a few small inns hoping to get a bit of food, with no luck. Adelle was starting to lose her confidence in finding free food. She decided just to go fishing, and save her time. Adelle was a bit worried when Chace didn't want to get in the water with her. He usually loved the water, and would fish for himself. When she had the food cooked, she gave him some, but he wouldn't eat much.
"Hey! My cooking ain't that bad." She said with a chuckle. Adelle didn't know what was wrong, but she knew something was.
