Actually, even if you're not a spoke, there might be a way. Spokes roam, and trade for supplies, after all.

how long ago past are we talking about? Sarinah had a period of travel from Dorhaven to Vienda four years ago...but she got hopelessly lost for part of it...stumbling onto vienda by sheer accident. i never wrote anything about her lost time or travel really, so we could do something there.

You'd obviously have a different Shi depending on the date, but it would all fit in her "previous happy life" timeframe.
I'm game for meeting Sarinah four years ago. We just need for one of us to have a good plot idea. I've got none yet, but I'd be happy to play the supporting character if you have one.
Actually I might have an idea for the setting. Shi could be hunting a hingle for dinner somewhere in the wraithwine wood (and failing, because it's hard for her to aim properly at something so cute). But where do we go from here? (BTW, if you've got an idea you don't need to tell me all the details, I love being surprised)

how about this, you start the thread, as its your idea originally. start it in Elsewhere and make the date around the same as the date on that lit thread...maybe at least three days later. same year. do your hingle hunting idea if you like, any sounds in the woods are going to scare the crap outta sarinah..we can roll from there.
