I have had this idea running through my mind for a while and I was wondering what you guys though. This one is not about the writing, it's just a quick idea. Tell me how you feel about the plot.


In 2342 a new way of space travel was discovered. Tunnels. They were discovered by Doctor William Crawford. The discovery of the tunnels was completely accidental, but would change a select group of humans forever. Dr. Crawford had been stationed on Bacchus 2, a space station orbiting titan. Crawford was testing his new probe. the probe was on it's first test flight when it disappeared. When a connection was re-established, it was discovered that the probe was in another system, in another galaxy. When the probe was able to be brought back by Crawford and his crew, they used the same tunnel that was used to that system. It seems there is a tunnel at the end of every system, made by an ancient unknown group that only left a signature in their tunnels.

In the system connect to Sol, our system, they found an earthlike-planet with know sentient beings. It was a perfect place to repopulate. When all the test were done to prove that it was habitable, settlers were sent. although technology had been on the planet before and worked, for some reason there didn't as soon as the colony ships entered the atmosphere, they lost all function. They ships crash landed on one continent. When all the survivors came too, they realized they would have to make a new life on this planet without technology.

It has been 6 thousand years since that landing, the humans on this planet have forgotten all about earth, except in their myths. The heroes and Starters of the colonization period have been deified, escpecially Crawford who has morphed into Crewf, the creator god. They are in the steam age.
