!!!Backstory:

Wick-born and wick-raised, Eri grew up traveling Anaxas and surrounding areas as the daughter of an acrobat father and a musician mother of Balder's Circus. Like all wicks, the tribe was her family, and she never longed for a permanent home. She's got a few siblings, several aunts and uncles, and a whole family of fellow performers. Every new place had something to discover, and it was hard for her to imagine not wanting to see more. Besides, the moon always followed her wherever she went, so what was there to miss from place to place?

A true free spirit, Eri took after her mother's passion for music and was soon playing whatever instrument she could get her little hands on. She loved to play for her people, for their performances, or even for complete strangers; it was her magic. She did learn other talents, from her father's acrobatics to her cousin's swordplay, but she has only mastered one. Eri has known nothing else but tribe life, and couldn't imagine life any other way. She's a performer, a teacher, and a wanderer.

While she's seen some of her siblings marry and add to their tribe, Eri has yet to really find anyone who can compete with her love of music. Maybe one day, but she's in no hurry to settle down.

!!!Personality:

Wild but soft-spoken, passionate but slightly introverted, patient but easily distracted, Eri's too much of a free spirit to be put in a box and labeled. She's usually up-beat, quick to have a smile, but often dreamy and lost in thought. She can change any conversation into something about sound or song or an instrument, regardless of the subject.

Eri is very sensitive to people and loves to entertain, enlighten, or otherwise edify those around her. She reads people and reads crowds very well, and loves to come up with music or words to fit any situation. She's prone to spontaneously producing and instrument and breaking out into song instead of speaking her mind.

!!!Physical Description:

Windswept and sun-tanned, Eri is the epitome of a nomadic wick. She is a little tall and thin, but not boyishly so – she still has curves where it counts. She's got lean muscles from traveling and pitching and entertaining. Her face is round, with a turned-up nose and thin lips that seem to always find a smile. Even though she's tan, she's got hints of freckles, especially across her face.

Her hair is long, wavy, and dyed a purple like mountains at twilight. It's usually worn in a complicated collection of braids and buns, wrapped up a bit and kept off her shoulders and out of her face, and would probably fall past her knees if she let it down completely. Her eyes are dark and almost black, gold-rimmed, and with thick, long lashes.

The whole right side of her body is covered in swirling starry patterns of tattoos from her neck down, even covering her hands and feet. They are all a really light shade of purple. Under her right eye is a thin crescent quarter-moon, also purple. She loves silver earrings, silver bracelets, and silver anklets. She makes sure that she always has something on her person that makes noise as she moves, so her whole body can be an instrument when necessary. Her clothing of choice is long, flowing skirts and loose shirts - anything that catches the wind, but she also owns a few lovely and exotic dresses. Her usual colors are simple grays, whites, and rich purple accents, usually in the form of a sash or scarf or belt.

*Violin, carved from wood from Anhau, decorated with a rather detailed moon carving on the back.
*Mandolin, carved with intricate constellations.

*Black-furred, blue-eyed Bander Wolf named Bright-eyes. He likes to "sing along" when he gets a chance.
*Gimpy and Moe, kensers for her cart. Moe's the dumb one and Gimpy is, well, a little gimpy.

!!!Goals

Make music, follow the moon and the wind, entertain, bring smiles to people ... Eri wants to enjoy her free life and bring joy to others with song, dance, and smiles. Maybe eventually she'll settle down and have some little bochi of her own with a benny balach, but she's waiting for that to be in the stars.

She sounds lovely The only problem is that the circus tribe isn't yet formed. I posted some in RPD about how we'll work this out.

In the meantime, perhaps Eri was from another tribe, but recently drifted? Alternatively, maybe she's already in the circus as a musician. In that case she should meet Calli and Tristaan asap.

Well, I can't meet Tristaan. That would be silly. Same player. That would be awkward, or against the rules or something.

But he won't be with the circus forever, since he's not performing.
